DNA

The aussies are offsprings of convicts who were exterminated from Britain. That explains why gentlemanly behaviour is alien to them. It is a DNA problem.

Mahajan:

Very well said.

The Australian Prime Minister should actually be in the jail, and all the Indians who have taken Australian Passports should be brought back to Indian prison and given life sentences. :)

Obviously a son of a convict is a convict, and a son of a Pramod Mahajan should be an excellent role model like Rahul Mahajan. :)

I bow before your superior medical, legal and general knowledge. :)

AP would happily go and serve in the jail with his aussies. See he is happy about it. :>)

NOT ONLY SHOLUD TALK TO HIM SELF AND HIS TEAM MATES REGARDING THEIR BEHAVIOUR ON FILELD BUT HE ALONG WITH HIS TEAM MATES SHOULD TAKE SOME COUNCELING FROM SOME PHYCATRIST AND IF POSSIBLE GET THEM SELVES ADMITTED IN AGRA MENTAL HOSPITAL. IT WILL HELP THEM NOT ONLY TO LEARN HOW TO BEHAVE BUT ALSO HOW TO SMILE. IF SUCH STEPS ARE NOT TAKEN THEY ARE GOING TO FIND THEMSELF IN THE SHOES OF THEIR TEAM MATE--MMMMOOOONNNKKKK..........Y

Yes, Ponting should Talk
by Bhoot Pret on Dec 22, 2009 03:16 PM  | Hide replies

Yes, Ponting should talk to his team members. They've lowered the high benchmarking standards they've set in sledging and on-field hooliganism. The new breed should understand that they've got a legacy to carry on, that was set by their predecessors.

Ponting will show newbies in the team videos of Sydney Test match (Ind Vs Hooligans) on 06 Jan, '08 and similar ones (I am sure there'll be many).

Classics such as Harbhajan vs Symonds are available aplenty (piece a penny)

If Mr Benn said something or provoked aussies is okay.People can see with eyes wide opened you cannot physically touch the player as Johnson did to Benn.He should have been given 6 month ban. Pointing wants to talk abt the code & conduct to his players comes as a joke as he is master of such strategies

Embarrassed Ponting to talk to team about their conduct
by Hebbar R on Dec 22, 2009 02:55 PM  | Hide replies

There is a need for serious thinking on such issues. Punishments should be meted out to the Australians too. In the present case, West Indian players have been banned whilst there is just a mere rap on the knuckles for the Aussies. Just a symbolic fine against the match fees.

Australians cannot be punished. In fact all the WHITE SKINNED cricketers can never be punished because they can never do no wrong. It is only the Blacks and the coloureds -- the slumdogs of the world -- who are capable of unsportsmanly behaviour. I am not saying this. Actions speak volumes of what one thinks. The ICC managed by Whites always punishes only Indians, Pakis, WIs, Bs etc. with match ban. But it only fines match fee (a per centage of it) and indirectly pats the WHITES on their back for showing the blacks and the coloureds their places. I will greatly appreciate if any one can point out one instance where a WHITE cricketer has been banned from matches. These WHITEs commit and get away with it!

Right AP. Since they banned lehman once every other aussie should not be punished for mistakes. It is more than enough for the next 1000 years. Why cant these people get it. right ?. I get you man. You have a FAIR sense of justice. :>)))

The most ill-mannered guy in cricket is going to teach others how to behave.

Wow!

Have some shame Ponting.

What will you tell them? Would you say
Follow me on how to cheat.
How to appeal for grassed catches
How to push guests from daïs to get photographed.

Or would you tell them, how to bark like a dog like you did, when SRinath asked if u were ok after a hit on ur body?

Tell Ponting

SI:

Really great post. :)

I particularly liked your style of claiming that only Ponting appeals when he knows the batsman is not out. I didn't really know that.
We must actually make a list of all the appeals our heroes have historically made where the umpire didn't give the batsman out, and get those umpires banned for life. :)
I also liked your story about how Australian cricketers pushed their way onto a ceremony where they were least expected and the whole world's press had come to see and interview a "guest". :)

I also didn't know that making errors in the past renders you incapable of telling others the right things to do. Obviously Sachin being banned once in his life will mean that he cannot teach anyone else how to behave, right? :)

its not about colour
by sriram kaushik on Dec 22, 2009 02:51 PM

aussies do it to every team ,in fact england is probably the worst affected in the ashes ,its not a racist thing ,its an attitude thing.
see australia is a massive and wealthy country and the descendants of the criminal ships had to fend off further immigration, develop this harsh weather large country on their own while stripping it of its resources (gold, bauxite, agri products etc) .
that lifestyle breeds a tough mentality , in normal interactions most aussies still behave like 18th century english gentlemen as they have sme compulsive need to forget who they descended from.

It is in the roots of Aussies, if you see the histroy of Austrial, it is formed by Brits. Brits deported all thieves and criminals to an isolated place, finally it became a country called Austrilia. Cheating and attitued is always a problem with Aussies, they never gel with anu country player.
