Bowling & Fielding are bigest loopholes

So Sehwag had to seal these holes :)

Agreed
Only can hope that Fielder took all catches & Bowler should bowl tight line & length

Shastriji i don understand our selection policy

in this kind bilateral series more chances should be given to youngsters. In last series aussies tried at least 10 new player n same SL doing now.

think abt our team all same 15 faces again n again.

i think they will give chance to youngsters in WC

What to do situation for BCCI ?
by km vb on Dec 20, 2009 04:03 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin is not sidelined himself to come down the order and BCCI must be thinking "what to do situation" ?
BCCI should be very bold to show the power ?
The money and reputation that received to BCCI only after winning 20-20 and also some matches that sachin didn't play

As long as Sachin opens innings- India on loosing side
by km vb on Dec 20, 2009 03:55 PM

The present cricket required fire right from opening.Sachin lost to fire and sachin opening will give pressure to the other batsman.Whereas sachin try to play to built up his runs tower and also century tower.
BCCI is knowingly allowing INDIA to loose with a chance ?

bring back munaf, irfan and kaif
by antonio valencia on Dec 20, 2009 03:50 PM

Irfan Pathan captained Baroda in Ranji Trophy Super League 2009/10.
Irfan scored 397 runs in 5 matches at an average of 49.62 while he took 22 wickets at an average of 18.54
Baroda finished 4th in group B of Ranji Trophy Super League which has 7 teams.
Surely Irfan would do better job at bowling than Parveen, Ishant and Nehra and he could also bat better than Jadeja and Kohli.

Munaf has also impressed for Baroda with 16 wikcts in 4 matches at an average of 22.37
In my opinon Munaf is better economical bowler and has more variation than Parveen, Ishant and Nehra.
When Munaf started his career, he had few injury problems and fielding problems but in the past 2 years specially under the captainship of Shane Warne in IPL, he has immensely improved his fielding and attitude and has managed to stay injury free whenever he's played in IPL, domestic cricket or international. He should be played consistently than an odd match here and there to bring out his full potential.

India also need to bring back Mohammad Kaif to imrove india's fielding.

when everyone is fit, the ideal indian ODI side should look like this:

sehwag
ghambir
tendulkar
yuvraj
raina
kaif
dhoni
irfan
harbhajan
zaheer
munaf
