Australia from beginning lacks the true sportman spirit. its not the first time but its totally ICC's fault then benn was given 2 ODI ban and Haddin and Johnson (suckers) let off with fine. wat ICC is doin.....ICC too Sucks....!!!!

Daren Lehmann was banned for 5 ODI's and not for life. He is currently the coach for Deccan Chargers in IPL.

Fact and AP!. When was that ever together. Aussie are always right for AP. Even a school going kid can see the issues with broads judgement when compared to what he gave in the gambhir incident. But hey fan boys. :>))

come on. He is a biased fellow or has some serious issues with reason. But dont get abusive man. ICC has some bad apples in their payroll.
Absolutely unfair judgement... haddin & johnson should also given handed match suspension.. Just think Aussies has still not learnt lessons from their previous mistakes...They are being given safeside still they are the first who creates this situation....

No aussie fan. The situation was created by haddin. Benn responded. Johnson started the physical contact.

Good. I didn't know that Haddin had run into the way of Johnson and pulled his shirt and tried to restrain him bodily. Thanks for improving my general knowledge. :)

yeah AP, just like katich did not run into someone else while going for the ball. Of coz!. BTW You and general knowledge ?. WOW!. Now they have that in aussie schools ?. nice!. Enlighten us more with your wisdom.
it's pretty sad that aussies get away with mild punishment, the replays showed clearly showed that there was two way traffic between Haddin(Showing the bat), Johnson(purposely brushing shoulder), obviously Big Benn, but unless these pro-white n racist people like Chris broad & co are sacked, this will continue. I think Harbhajan episode gave them a proper lesson, in particular Ponting, who kept his foul Aussie mouth to himself. We must remember that Chris Broad was a rowdy on the field himself, how many more Mike deness or Chris broad do we want before the ICC wakes up, and appoint people who do not make travesty of justice, Haddin & Johnson should have been given higher penalties, if not a match ban... These referees are more assassinators of the game rather protectors.... god save the Gentlemen playing it

well said. Aussie fan boys dont get it. They somehow seem to think rules dont apply to them. Johnson and Benn both had to be banned for this judgement to be impartial. Haddin should have got only a fine and rightfully so. Benns ban is only for the reason that he has been a hot head.

pls dnt compare Bhajji with all peaceful n decent cricketers, in that case Aussie list stands very long, Glenn McGrath vs Sarwan mid pitch, Mike Slater abusing umpire Venkat during indo-aus 2001 series, Symonds all the way, Brad Williams during 2004 series in australia, so on.... Bhajji can be excluded from that list of Gentlemen, but Sachin or Dravid or Kumble cannot??? how bout dat Pseudo buddy?

Very well said. If a Darren Lehman gets banned for life it is certainly not racism. If a Symonds is kicked out for indiscipline it is certainly not racism. But all dark-skinned players must be let alone else a ban or even a match fee fine will reek of racism. :)

Correct me if i'm wrong,i don't remember Lehman being awarded life ban.I thought Azhar, cronje & some Paki cricketers got life ban, unless ofcourse u know something that whole world doesn't know. And BTW beating India @ home ,does that justify their onfield behaviour.Maybe it does, for ppl like u.
I saw this incident on TV and today the fines and punishments by the ICC is on expected lines !! The entire fault lie with the 2 aussie batsmen who were swearing and cursing, and even pointed the bat at the bowler and then haddin and johnson the physically abused the poor bowler from the west indies - Benn !! and today you read that Benn has been suspended for 2 ODI's and the aussies let off with 10% and 25% fines !!! How crazy......
If it was Harbhajan Singh in place of Benn, surely things would have been different. And remember the elbowing by Gambhir at Nagour test which saw him being banned for a test !!! And here 2 australians actually show a bat first and then push and shove a west Indian in front of TV and they get away !
