Why not Dhoni is trying to shift this match to his home ground Jamshedpur?
Jashedpur is a good gound and India has to prove that they are not always beatable at Jamshedpur ground.India has not won a single match in Jamshedpur......
Dhoni is a local boy and this will be great advantage for team...

Dhoni is not the deciding authority to fix the playing venue.Remember he is only the captain & not the BCCI deciding authority . Be sensible before writing anything in this forum.

Nikita,I am agree with you but go back to Sourabh Ganguly era.....He always influnced BCCI to organise the match to Kolkata.... So,Why not dhoni...

because dhoni is not a match shifting commity member. in jamshedpur if india lose then aggregate spectors tray to create some disturbence. vs bangalades may be possible because there should be more probability to win.
1. logistic reasons. 2. the ground is already match ready due to t20 played. 3. BCCI prez is from Nagpur 4. Nagpur is scheduled to hold 4 WC 2011 matches.

For your kind information BCCI precident is not from Nagpur but from Pune and there will not a single WC2011 match in pune.

Chennai, if there is floods or some fighting in the north only u will get matches in chennai or when Zimbabwe or bangladesh u will get chance to watch. Other wise it will be Nagpur/ Mumbai/ Ahmedabad/ Kolkata/ Mohali

Re: chennai

It was decided by BCCI that there would be no matches in Chennai during the months of November & December where rain could play spoilsport.

Think twice before u speak. Chennai didnt get any ODI matches in recent times. Atleast it should get one or two matches, when others get many. Nagpur has recently hosted a twenty20 then y it hosts again.
We hardly see international cricket matches held in these two centres. Matches are conducted frequently in Nagpur and BCCI should be fair enough to conduct match in any of these centres
Re: why not Goa or Cochin

Re: congress has to own up to the telengana mess
by Venugopalan on Dec 14, 2009 11:42 AM
congress has always been like that, but unfortunately the opposition is more un-organised. their case is still worse, so cong takes advantage even in losing position.
Its easy to shift a venue. Why did the UPA Govt decide on Telangana issue in a huury as if granting freedom . Are the people of Andhra useless or not even eligible for a more sensitive and caring decision by the so called supremo of The UPA.Even after 60 yeras of independence we indians are still unable to make decisions by ourselves. If this telangana was the making of the British why did the issue come on the burning stage after 60 years of independence. The Andhra wa sthe only state to have given 36 MP to The UPA govt Its shamefull that this is the gift that the UPA govt has to give to its most deared state.

This was known to all ealrier and the shit was actually made by YSR when he was very happy to be CM instead of getting good posts in the central govt for the state MPs. He slod the ministries to Tamli Naddu thro Sonia etc. UPA need only YSR not the state and he is main culprit. He was happy that he kept his position as CM.

More over there was not much allocation either in the Railway budget and the finance budget and even he never raised his voice and controlled the MPs who were intially started some sort of agitation over the railway budget.
