In the 80's all most all Cricket viewers love to watch the best entertainer batting like a diety. After he exited from the scene, we had a vaccum, and Viru promptly filled that slot, though after a long gap of almost 25 years.Keep it up Viru, you are truley an entertainer.

Mr Rohit, Do u follow cricket? Do u understand wat u talk ? He has scored 2 100s in NZ pitches when none of the other batsmen in eother side crossed 50 even once..Sachin scored 2 runs from 3 inns with an avg of 0.66 . Dravid or Saurav or Yuvraj cudnt cross 25 ...and he scored 2 100s in those tuffest conditions when no teams were crossing 200 runs...where teams were getting bundled under 100......his 195 at Melbourne...second best score was 45 (laxman)....and it was one of the tuffest pitch to bat on....and he is the only player who scored 300 and the team won...in the modern era...(leaving aside 300s against Ban and Zim)...even this match india is gonna win....... Learn to accept facts man......

Even in flat wickets he bats like a MAN not like 241* from 600 odd balls..or 100 from 300 odd balls or playing on 190s for Hours....... during that 319 he scored fastest triple 100 in history of game.....no one even near him..at a pace in which once upone a time great Sir Bradman used to play......

And he has least avg against Ban and Zim......he never scored a 100 against them......check other's stats......too...I know ppl who hav their best test inns against Bangladesh...!!! Veeru has scored 100s all over the world.....in all conditions....and still if u say he is a flat wicket bully.....U dont deserve a response.....

First get your statistics right, dude. He scored a magnificent 195 against Australia at Australia. And don't you forget 319 against SA

Prince Aniston & Rohit... see the match and understand cricket before you start writing... Sehwag is any day dangerous to AUS & SA. Listen to what their captains have to say about him before speaking out. He is a geniune match winner, no matter what the conditions are. BTW every batsmen has a chink in the armour on bouncy wickets... thats why you need the bowlers to fire on both sides to make a match on such pitches... but anyways how would you guys understand this????
Sachin and Bradman have similar stroke play as conferred by Don himself. But Schewag and Viv have similar style. But going by brutal striking ability it is difficult to compare who is better of the two. Cricket is something that cannot confine itself to one record holder. The way Schewag batted yesterday should have caused nightmarish feelings to Sri Lankan bowlers. Warne had such feelings after bowling to Sachin during his peak days. Still we cannot forget the breath taking strokes of VVS Laxman against aussies. Let us feel proud that India has some of the best stroke players who could cause some fear psychosis in the minds of opposite teams. India has so many talented players but no one are prolific enough like a Sachin or sunil. Little bit temperement and consistency would have made Schewag one of legends like bradman or richards and it is still not too late - if he maintains the present form for couple of years. Let us pray for his success.

Has Sehwag DONE anything on bouncy wickets against fast bowling to merit a comparison with the King?
Look at Viv's record against Lillee and Thommo on bouncy Aussie wickets when they were at their peak. in Tests avg = 49 in ODI avg = 71

check against aus in Melbourne 190s. Bouncy track and most attacking batting. Noone argue he is dravid to defend in all condition. But on his day, he will be devil and nearly impossible to stop him.

hi global - see the statistics before giving your view. Sachin scored the maximum against the best teams Australia, windies, pakistan, south africa and sri lanka. He scores the least against bangla desh, kenya and zimbabwe. you find out some thing new ways to abuse Sachin. if you dont understand statistics ask some elementary school kids.
the position he was in today as he walked out he could easily achieved the world record for fastest triple hundred as he had 39 balls to get those 16 runs to break the previous record. he shud hav waited a bit more patiently for this feat. but thats indeed his style and thats too is UNIQUE
