If this is true "Tendulkar also revealed that he had decided not to play Twenty20 internationals in order to prolong his Test and one-day career" I think he should avoid IPL and not the international T20s. International T20s are few and far apart when compared to the grind of IPL. Dont get me wrong I'm a huge fan of SRT. But this statement doesnt look kosher

Guys grow up... learn to respect...
by Guest on Aug 07, 2009 10:45 PM  | Hide replies

This place is really messy... wonder what people think when they write here... Such a great batsman in the world... Would Australians abuse their own players like this here... Lets be more patriotic guys... What's wrong sachin has done... and why are you comparing Sachin with Sehwag... all suicidal and stupid topics... So GROW UP... Be proud of what he has achieved for India and also realize what he has done for the game of cricket...

Good interview by sachin.
Given the things that have happened in the life it would have been easy to get carried away so one should be very cautious on the financial matters.

not sure
by Indian on Aug 07, 2009 09:56 PM  | Hide replies

I am not sure if we have had a nice person like Tendulkar, devoted to cricket so much (well, let's leave critics behind for now), selfless who doesn't have to depend on the local lobby for selection. Very surprising to have a person like him with those qualities from that part of India who just depend on proud-for-nothing attitude.

Sachin is worried abt runs coz if he scores well then only he will get contracts....so now wonder, he has to worry abt runs...if he scores well, contracts will follow....ultimately, contracts matter the most, and runs are a way of bagging contracts...

As far as Rest of The Indian Cricket Players is considered Sachin, Ganguly, Lakshman, Dravid etc will go to record books as a self-serving traitors for denying and depriving young Indian players of an
opportunity to play for India...

Yeah... if only they had sucked more younger players would have had the opportunity to play. Unfortunately, Sachin, Ganguly, Laxman and Dravid were the best at what they were doing.
