Rahul:

;-)... Is he going to defeat Federer this time?.... :)

Since you are under a mistaken belief that Cricket is an individual sport, perhaps you now realize why we didn't win it after the 1983 fluke.... :)

mr.Rahul
this is another rahul,
i know cricket is not a individual game,
so same thing should apply for sachin,
i just wrote the above in defence of sachin,
as many ppl compare his captaincy with ponting

and for u kind information captaincy is only a individual thing all 11 players cant be captain.
so u fool dont compare cricket & ponting with other sports.
sachin is great.
make him captain of the same team that ricky leads with all match winners even sachin will win as captain.

ha ha ha
cricket is a game where captain is nothing with out the other 10 players

give ponting 10 ordinary indian players to lead as captain , & then compare with sachin , no need to bring Federar here u fool

Ausis's Era will not end as soon as people are guessing.
by Tapesh on Aug 05, 2009 12:03 PM

Ausis's Era will not end as soon as people are guessing. Although their behavior have not been very good, but leave it and see their performance. They are truly world Champion. They never give up and keep fighting. I am not supporter of Ausis but I am supporter of their great game. Look Example:-
1-
England beat Ausis 2-1 in the Ashes of 2005. And than all were saying that it is end of Ausis’s Era. Than next time Ausis wrapped 5-0 to Flintoff’s men at home and made shut mouth of all, who were saying about their end?

2- Ricky Ponting as captain won two successive World Cup for his team 2003 and 2007. But before World Cup of 2007, NZ beat Ausis by 3-0 in New Zealand. Than too all were saying that it is end of Ausis’s Era. And what a fantastic answer given by Ricky and his men to World. That don’t say about our end. We are superpower and we will be superpower of World Cricket.
3- The third and last thing is that they don’t need to prove that they are the best side in the world.

Ponting is the best skipper ever in the history of Test Crct
by Tapesh on Aug 05, 2009 11:54 AM  | Hide replies

I am one of the greates lover and fan of Cricket. I started watching cricket from 1992. I saw top of many great cricket and I also their bottom.
But Ricky Ponting is my favourite captain ever. I saw many great captain like Fleming, Ranatunuga, Wesels from South Africa when it came back, Smith and Cronze, Jaywardhane, Gaunguly from India, Azhar to from India and now Dhoni, Inzmam and Akram from Pakistan. Steev Waugh and Teylor from Austrilya, Walse and lara from West India even Andi Flower from Zimvabye. Ponting is the best for me.

Ponting does not hold a candle to Sachin Tendulkar as a batsman...and does not hold a candle to Sourav Ganguly as a captain...

Inspite of having a mediocre team, Ganguly steered India to a WC final....Ponting would have struggled to take such a team past the 1st round...so don't write all this trite stuff again and again....
