Dhoni
by just for it on Apr 28, 2009 05:08 PM  | Hide replies

As a captain , Dhoni has failed to understand his team. Does he know who else can bowl. Even KP of bang-a-lore gave Kholi a bowl. Does Dhoni know he selected a spinner in his team and did not offer him even a ball to bowl. Badri can also bowl. Its just a matter of trying... And all Dhoni has to say is Bowlers let us down , fielders let us down.... I think this guy ( Dhoni has issues ... he prefers the useless patel, jog sharma).
If the locals do not get a chance to play in 20-20 where are they gonna get a chance to prove anything? CSK remove this useless Dhoni with issues out.

Mentalities of some people posting here:
by LG on Apr 28, 2009 03:21 PM

Not all, but many of the posters here (I wonder whether they are all poki posing as Indian, as I firmly believe that India Muslxx have much better senses) have got following mentalities:

Trying hard-not matter how much illogical they may sound—to prove a certain player bad so as to project other player great even if he is just an ordinary player or a captain.

Writing about themselves what they are not in real life—such as being successful. Mind you a truly successful person knows the value of other successful person in any profession and thus gives respect.

If someone disagrees, calling him/her loser.

Basically such people, when they write here, are basically showing their true real-life characters through the language they use.

Dhoni GOOD FOR NOTHING
by muthu saravanan on Apr 28, 2009 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni can be better captain but he is WORST T20 Player. He always collapse run rate when he comes into bat. DHONI WE DONT NEED YOU IN OUR CHENNAI SUPER KING. We have lost all three matches because of you only.

KINDLY GET OUT FROM CHENNAI SUPER KINGS, do your job as a coach, you are good for that only.

He is an ordinary captain hyped by media.

Examples of good captains: Warne, SRT, Steve Waugh

OVERCONFIDENCE COSTS CSK
by damodaran mohan on Apr 28, 2009 01:05 PM  | Hide replies

Actually CSK is not as bad a team as it is performing because it is the overconfidence because of which they find themselves in the present situation. Even now they can retrieve the situation by changing the playing eleven. Virtually they gifted the first match to MI by playing a second string eleven. However still they have not got the right team combination. Joginder Sharma after his return from injury is not in the same form he played in WC or even in IPL-I and is a NPA. It is strange highly talented players like Vidyut have been sent back ! If they can set right their batting I think the bowling will take care of itself. Murali Vijay should open with Hayden and Parthiv Patel should come 5-6 down. Raina is Ok but he is riding his luck more often. Dhoni should play his natural game. Albie Morkel appears jaded and Makhaya Ntini should play in his place. Line up: hayden,m vijay, raina, dhoni, oram, badri, patel, m goni, balaji, ntini, murali.

Albie and Parthiv out would be my suggestion and your opener choice is correct. raina just singles rotator and rarely brings up a run rate, so does dhoni. bowlers have no strength to bowl i think.

CSK's woes
by Orient Mystique on Apr 28, 2009 10:33 AM  | Hide replies

1. I have said this before and repeat that Badrinath is a much hyped player who is fit to play only in Ranji matches against Andhra, Goa and Kerala. If CSK owner wants his team to do well, Badri should be sent back to India without a second thought.

2. Murali Vijay is being wasted. He should open the innings with Hayden, providing quality opening partnership. (Right left combo also)

3. Parthiv should bat down the order at No.6.

4. Morkel has proved to be insipid so far with both bat and ball and should be rested for a few matches.

5. Mtini should come in in place of Morkel to give an edge to the team's bowling.

6. Raina seems to be the backbone of middle order and should be advised not to throw away his wicket after reaching 20s or 30s but play like Gibbs did yesterday, deVilliers did the other day and Sangakkara did against RR.

7. Dhoni seems to be going through a bad patch as batsman and earlier he comes out of it, better for the team.

By losing winnable games against Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils, CSK have added to their woes and will now need to win almost every remaining match to be sure of qualifying for semifinals.

I am a great fan of Dhoni and hence of CSK (although it should be the other way round, I being a Tamilian) and would still like to believe that CSK under MSD can pull it off.

Don't loose your heart. CSK have enough matches to bounce back. Let see what position they get after 1st round.

Also, to add, I think Balaji should also be removed from the team. His bowling has been pathetic..

naaryan,

If you want Balaji to be removed, then tell me why Dhoni should not be removed from team.

I have been said many times that Dhoni is just as ordinary batsman and captain.
