KKR needs to send some more guys back home!
by Aanton M on Apr 26, 2009 11:03 PM  | Hide replies

Sanjay Bangar and Akash Chopra have been sent back to India more for their failures rather than the stated fact that they don't fall in the scheme of things for the remaining half of the tournament. If performance is the parameter for ejecting out the players... what is John Buchanan doing in South Africa. His ideas have already been proven wrong... and its time he is also sent back home!

ya they were sent due to failures...failures of KKR management (coach and owner). firstly, how can u justify their selection in the squad..second how can u judge performance by one or two matches..??
bottomline is that, the duo of owner-coach completely failed in their job..
Selecting Bangar and Chopra is itself a mistake..judging them taking two matches as parameter is a bigger mistake and sending players back in the mid of a tournament is biggest!
Sorry KKR, ur team can NEVER EVER win with crazy people around u.

true. its very disheartening of kkr to send players like this. even last year they did this to 5-6 promising cktrs. its an insult to cktrs.

agreed that they may not fit to the scheme of the team. but firstly its wrong on the part of team owners y they didnt visualise the situation while selecting players.
u cant take players blindly then discard them at ur whims n fancies. its ridiculous.
had they been not selected in the first place, then that wud hv been a different issue altogether. but its a wrong thing, demoralising cktrs.

why all this fuss abt sending players back, rajasthan royals did it, earlier by sending some of its players back home.

come on guys most of u r educated and work in corporates, dont u guys know how the mangement runs, everything is ruined by the advisors in KKR its not the fault of SRK, he is handling only the media to sell his face, cricketing decisions are actually taken by somebody else (like joy bhattacharya, john buchanan) this guy only owns the team he may be knowing only the basics of cricket spare him.

as far as sending the players back they have taken the right decision. they shld not have been selected they r the liability to this format. their perfoemance statistics show u guys can check.

i hope u guys take this in the right spirit

Talk sensibly and in the right spirit. if you understand a bit of cricket also than you cant just speak like these about a legend of Indian cricket who has served the country so very well and gave us so many talents, you mr. selfish. You know something i feel you are one of those peoples who loves to criticise the indians and finds everything right about the foreigners. It is Buchanan and co. who needs to be send back to where they came from. If they are not happy with Akash Chopra and Bangar why the hell they selected them in the first place. It is very disheartening as far as the morale of the team goes. regarding sourav a champion can play such an innings under pressure which he played against the royals. We love to speak dirty about legends like Rahul, Sourav, sachin, laxman. plz stop these bullshit.

Very true. Ganguly is a very selfish player. He just needs power. He is not a good team player. Drop Sourav, and 80% of the KKR problem will be solved.
Best example is Indian cricket. Look at the performance once is dropped from the Indian side.

South Africa tour was one and half year after Ganguly was dropped in 2005, indian team performance was fabulous, infact they created some record of chasing. Then again in 2008 after test series in Australia where Ganguly managed 2 fifties in 8 innings and 228 runs something averaging 28, Dhoni forced selectors to drop Ganguly for the ODI triangulars and sent him back from Australia. And india ended up winning the tournament and the performance after that is incredible. SRK should learn from this and immediately send Ganguly back.

Bangar is the fake IPL Player
by Kapil Dev on Apr 26, 2009 10:16 PM  | Hide replies

Bangar was writing the fake IPL player blog with the help of Akash Chopra. That is the reason, they have sent back.
Now, you see there will be either a last blog from fake IPL player or there will be a delayed information if some one informs them.

Laksmi Ratan Shukla is the fake IPL player. The fake IPL player had claimed that he was born and brought up in Kolkata, I don't think either Chopra (who plays for Delhi) or Bangar (plays for one of the western states) were born in Kolkatta.
