Any unusual action is not chucking. He is left handed Malinga. He throw the bowl with round arm action. When Murali, Shoib, Malinga are playing then why not Kamran?

Stop thinking
by mahi on Apr 24, 2009 04:08 PM

Pls stop all these useless talkings, IPL is only to make the rich, richer. It is just for money and make the public fool.
So, pls stop utilising your valuable brain on this time pass subject. Rather think on people who are deprive of everyting. Do U know percentage of people living below the poverty line. Do u know the insfracture condition of our country. So, Pls stop think on these. We need another Netaji Subhash, another kalpana chowla, another Ramanuja. Think how can we get ...........stop calculating how much Dhoni will get from IPL...think how much we require the develop the medical, education, insfracture of our country and how to make these affordable for the general public of our country.

Bangalore and Chennai as cities
by Forrest Gump on Apr 24, 2009 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

Spitting this is my analysis:

1. Chennai: Superbly planned city, very clean and broad roads. But it stinks in many places due to open drains and backwater of sea. People esp. shopkeepers are very polite with you..autos a no no but less ruder than bangalore...hindi movies can be seen in multiplexes...yes its not cosmopolitan and people's conservative attitude esp. those of the Brahmins there sucks a big time(btw im a Brahmin myself so not taking potshot at the caste)....

2. Bangalore: Much bigger city in area..takes too long to go from one place to another...potholed roads...bad street lighting....badly planned city...but much better North Indian food compared to Chennai...but people stay back here due to cosmpoplitanness of the city...its as cosmo as Delhi and Mumbai....Hindi can be spoken and most people know it...shopkeepers and autowaalas are rude though....but still weather is much better and ppl from all around India prefer this city more....

My experience in Chennai was not very good.....although coworkers in Chennai are the friendliest and very professional....the experience with auto drivers, buswalahs etc was pretty bad.....i was duped when Menambakkam airport to Mylapore the auto driver took Rs 250 from me.......

Also, the food is too rice based and someone like me who works out with heavy weights, that was not great...i lost a lot of weight...but good thing is that it is clean and a small city....so travelling from one place to the other is pretty cool.......

u are rite...chennai is bad in north indian food and u really need to search to find good NI food which is not the case with Blore....meenambakkam to mylapore 250 rs...hahahaha....too much....am sure he would have no meter././///thats another prob. of chennai autos...they do pooja with their meters....actually airport to mylapore shld not cost more than 120 rupees....anyway i agree that chennai has more punctual and effecient people but more talent in IT can be found in Blore...people are smart there

Yeah, you are rite....i'am looking forward to working in Bangalore with some software heavyweights.......thanx for info!!

But actually Mumbai also has a good IT culture which is ignored largely.....Bangalore and Hyd have been hyped as IT centres but aif ytou see it, Mumbai and Pune also has a decent IT culture...it is just that it is not hyped up...

Now New bombay as in Vashi, CBD Belapur are also emerging as IT hubs.......

That bugger SAchinBest thinks MI are unbeatable and ll that crap...

I think KKR have thew team to beat MI atleast once if not twice over....i don't think MI will have a shot at the title...

My favourite is actually Sehwag's Delhi team....they look good and will be even better when McGrath comes in.......

McCullum
by Chaturchuramoni Chatterjee on Apr 24, 2009 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

He is a very good player, as shown by his performance in the t20s against India, but he is not a good captain. Buchanan should apply his multiple captain theory and give it to Gayle, because he will not give it to Ganguly according to Dada-dislike policy taken by Aussies.

Chatur,
I don't think he is not a good captain....but much like KP, he is under a lot of pressure from his owners to deliver, and that is affecting his performance...

Look at KP, he is just crumbling under the pressure.....

If a captain crumbles under pressure, then he must release the post.
Dada has tremendous potential handling pressure...just recall the time when he was handed captaincy of India (after match fixing fiasco)..he not only proved to be the best but also took india to great heights.

But he used his power negatively after 2003. He performed poorly 1-2 years and thought nobody can drop him because of captaincy.

Agreed.. but his tenure as captain was about 5 year, out of which 1 year was poor on his part.. However, most of his tenure were really good!

They should have stuck with the multiple captain theory...it was a good theory in my opinion...why Buchanan used it to just trick Ganguly out of captaincy? If it had been implemented properly, it could have been Mccullum for 2 matches, gayle for next two, Ganguly for the next two...it would have helped the management to know who is good and whoz not as captain...
