It is really a great acheivement for Saurav to make it as India's captain IN SPITE OF being from the most hated state and community in the country.
Just because his the owner of the team, doesn't mean he is a cricket expert. he should keep his mouth shout and let experts talk about cricket. Who wants to hear his gyan on cricket!

He owns the team and can do as he wishes.....Any case Dada is playing his last IPL then Bengalis can organize special matches for him and make sure kids bowl underarm at him coz he hates pacers......just look wht fidel edwards did to him

Dear, Dada is not called India's greatest captain becuse he won this much matches or so. He is regarded as the greatest captain because he built the team from scratch. He showed the world that Indians are also aggressive. He gave the Attitude to the Team which was missing earlier. He groomed many players. See he promoted Sehwag to opening in his place for team's sake but Dravid promoted himself. Dada backed Harbhajan, Yuvraj, Nehra, Pathan etc.Has Dravid groomed a single player? Dravid got a readymade team whereas Dada built it when chips were down and no one was ready to take the challenge incluiding The Great Tendulkar. So dear figure do not reveal everything.

but Ganguly Captaincy only series win gainst PAK abroad was shared so credit is devided between Dravid and Ganguly. Dhoni and Gavaskar one each against mighty side of their times Australia. Verdict- Ganguly was not most successful captain as projected by eastern journo and fans. As he captained for much lomger time with
support of then Dalmiya. But he could not achieve what Bedi, Wadekar, Dhoni, Gavaskar achieved in shorter duration as captain.

Qualitative aspects do not mean the approach of a batsman on an off form day. Anaida, understand that you just cannot score that many runs unless you are able to handle all (including fast) bowlers.

1. SRK owns the team 2. Ganguly is a retired cricketer who cant run to save his life 3. It makes sense to appoint as captain a current international cricketer who fits the bill in T20's.
My suggestion to all SRK haters and Dada lovers......collect some funds buy a franchise and make Dada its captain for the next 25 years by the time he comes a real DADA ( Grandfather)
