No bengali player would have got a chance to play for national side if Ganguly have not scored the debut century. I am not comparing him with anyone. But he had to bear the pressure everyday on and off the field throughout his career. Nobody pointed out a finger on Tendulkar when he had an average of just 15 throughout a year. But Ganguly failed against Srilanka after being highest runscorer from the indian team till then and everybody started to fire against him. There are many Greg chappels for Ganguly. The new one is Buchanan along with that marketing (not acting) king SRK. But Ganguly will always rule kolkata.
He got a ton of runs. His team lost, but of course, our hero doesnt care, because he doesnt know, or care, what teamspirit means. Only losers like Sachin, Dravid etc play for their teams.
Ganguly had said that he was not aware of multiple captaincy theory and neither was consulted.
Two days later Buchanan gave an interview clarifying that Ganguly was kept in the loop of things and knew about it.
SRK did not deny this, instead supported Buchanan's idea. SRK did not say Buchanan was lying that Ganguly knew and was aware of multiple captaincy plans.
Seems Ganguly played with emotions of bengalis again by crying in front of media and knew bengalis would react and they did. But once he found no support from SRK the owner he did not say anything that he was not aware of the theory.
SRK should speak the truth, because the finger is now pointing to Ganguly, is Ganguly really a liar and has played politics again this time.

NO, Sameer has a point, why did they then replace Ganguly by in-experienced McGullam as the captin.

Aare he calculated in terms of money the value of those 2 wickets in the long run in IPL2 of KKR, he is a pukka bzman and justifying by acknowledging the fact- nothing wrong in it
