brendon is not the captain material.
by Radhakrishna on Apr 22, 2009 05:24 PM  | Hide replies

I wonder very much how a player can become a captain when he cannot become captain of his own home team. where as dada has captioned insia succussfully. This monkey actor and coach are doing some mischief. Insult to colcatta. brendon is not a right choice.

Bengal was the capital of India. We started the freedom struggle due to which Bengal was partitioned first among all Indian cities in 1905. We were the torch bearers of the freedom struggle. Its easy now to sit on a PC and pass judgments on "Bongys" but where was your incestual Mumbai then??? And itna akarta kisliye hain mumbai par? Dahisar incest or TISS rape??? What Mumbai gave India? Whoever, dont make racist comments for the sake of making it. Be aware of history and find out what contribution has the bengalis made to India and world. Be it Bose-Einstein theory, or film-making or literature, every race has its weight, the more sunnier side makes it brighter. We Bengali's, have been intellectuals and emotionals. Hence the glory in literature and Science. Prove it wrong.

I am not sure if Bengalis are emotional or intellectuals, but I am sure they are fools. Even after 62 yrs of freedom they are the same crap state. Mumbai being a city generates more revenue than the entire West Bangal State. Thanks to leaders like Mamta Banerjee & Prakash Karat.

I feel sad that the most humiliated player in BCCI is now humiliated by the KKR.What does SRK think? Are we fools to believe that a foreign coach can humiliate our Dada in a press conference without his silent approval.Though I am not a Bengali I will very bitter think of his die hard fans.
SRK's talk is very insincere.

Pls accept Ganguly had attitude problem. Thats the reason he was out of Indian team and captaincy. He changed his attitude temp to get into the team. This will not work with Franchise ... because its business and we got to make tough decisions ... be matured and respect decisions made.

Difference between Kolkatta and Bangaluru
by Khuzaymah Khuzaymah on Apr 22, 2009 05:10 PM  | Hide replies

Even Bangalore Royal Challenger changed their captain to Kevin Peitersen, and nobody cares, he was also Rahul Dravid not anybody. While in Sourav case it is always lot of 'tamasha' either it is Indain captaincy or KKR.

Knowing very well in advance what a issue it will be if he is removed from Captaincy, they started floating the idea of four captain, to prepare Kolkatta psychologically that Sourav ganguly is gone case.
This is what they did, if they straight away removed Sourav, all over the Kalkotta, Shahrukh and Buchanan effigy would be burning.

SRK IS FOOL
by mandar kamble on Apr 22, 2009 05:06 PM  | Hide replies

SRK is a guy who thinks his sugary words will work here in the cricket field as well. He is under wrong impression. Already he has shown his childish approach by criticizing legendary sunil gavaskar when actually sunny was true.
Buchanan needlessly teased the skipper post when he had a player with superb captaincy record already in that post. Yes Sourav couldn’t make it last year that’s true but in fact SRK and aussie agent should have kept DADA in the driving seat to steer better than last year. Brandon Macllum or Saurav, answer was too simple and SRK missed it.

In cricket a skipper is very much time factor related concept. No team management has sacked a skipper after just a single failure. Though this is different sort of game still the captaincy basic doesn’t change.

SRK will pay for it.

Wat a silly people you all are... Do you think SRK is fool?...
Somebody said he bought cheap player.. paki player,etc...Do u think he is that mad?
He is the one who has to support his coach..so that the team have the confidence in the coach... Whether it will work or not i dont know.( mind u Australia won 2 wc under him)
But u people should understand that he is the one who will be the most worried if team losses... Go back in 2008... if given a thought ,he had a good team with Macllum, ponting, gayle(DNP as he was injured)Hussey, Ganguly these batsmen are enough for T20... Umar Gul , Ishant,Agarkar & Shoaib Murali kartik are excellent bowlers ..But somehow they didnt got the combination rite..POnting & Macllum left in middle of tournament..Gayle remained injured...
This year also looks same as Hussey is not there.. Gayle will leave in last league of tournament...

I think Mumbai Indian or Delhi will win this time..... wat say...
