I agree with this. It is Modi's ego which pushed IPL to SA. Now instead of IPL it is becoming IDL( Indian Duckworth & lewis League). What is there to discuss about this.
IPL is purely a business and not a cricket. this should be banned because it is doing a damage to indian cricket. this is IPL (Indian) but most of the indian captains are removed. why ?

what is wromg in doing business ??? may be you are sore because you are no earning much. not only players, so many people- commentators, admen, tv employees, executives of corporates ar eearning . in India, only, making maoney is a crime and being slum>>dog is a virtue.

I second you. It is just a business and all these indices are business critical. PIL is doing more harm to the game of cricket than good. In English dictionary, the word cricket means: 1. An insect 2. A game 3. Fair. Example of a sentence with this meaning: this is not cricket.
Slowly, the third usage of the word "cricket" will evaporate, even worse, will get replaced by a meaning just opposite to fair.

IPL is not cricket. it is a circus. Just enjoy it if you want else forget and go to sleep.
KP is going to be failure. Vijay Malleya paid too much for him, bad cricketing choice. It probably makes business sense as Challengers and Chennai are the only teo teams mainly covered by British medua. Anyway, no wonder Banglore suffered last year
