Sachin Tendulkar should be awarded Bharat Ratna. He is genius. He made indians crazy about cricket. Personally my comment is that if sachin was not playing cricket, then i would have never watched cricket at all. I am a fan of cricket till sachin is in the team. Once he retires, i quit watching cricket. Like me, so many millions of people watch cricket only because sachin is in the team.

what is there hue and cry about all this issue. let him play and enjoy his cricket. why we want to fight on this issue. Whatever he said is true . Moreover, he do not want to prove anything. He has already proved himself along with Rahul. thats end of it.

Guys I have been watching sachin since I started understanding the cricket, There was a time around 1996 to 2000 when most of the people switch offf their tv sets as sachine got out, the has given lots of contribution to the indian cricket team, just because of his injuries he falled down little but everytime he returned very strongly If he would not loose many matches because of his injuries na he would have finished 50s of hundreds in both ODI and Test cricket Sachin You are truely great and I wish you best of luck for future

sachin is the best tail ender and there is nobody better than him. he also keeps his wicket very well.
some people here say that sachin should retire because he has achieved everything in cricket, yet the same people contradict themselves when they question his achievements. I don't follow indian domestic criket, can someone please tell me is there any young cricketer in india right now who has atleast 50% of the talent a 16yr old sachin had. Is there any young cricketer who could score 100's in australia, england and SA in his first tour? If there is someone like that then even i will agree that sachin has to retire, till then let us enjoy this genius. As i said before indians don't know how to treat their sportsmen, that is the reason why you guys have so few iconic sportsmen, even if there are a few people get rid of their personal frustration by abusing them without any reason.

foolishness.....!!! until and unless you let someone prosper... u wouldn't find out.... and moreover this current indian team doesn't need sachin to win matches.... they play as a unit.... and the results are there for everyone to see.... someone or the other rises to the occasion when sachin goes out.... you will see the process will go on... no one is bigger than the game....
and what did you say about less iconic players...!!! Lower level of respect is the reason for India's dismal show in world sports!!!! I think someone himself is frustrated....

my friend u r right that no one is bigger than the game but sachin is making runs if he is not perfoming then its ok he should go out of the team but he is making runs consitently just he has slow down his aggressive style beacuse now many hitters are around in indian teams but his experience is very important for indian cricket team

i never minds fools like perpoudhe... and none other also must not mind.... i really feel wonder why this people wants sachin going out or retire????? hahahahaha. fools. if they dont want sachin they can go with any other player but they dont have the right to say against sachin. even now sachin plays than others... see in newzealand he got 165*. if he had no injury he would have got 200. and in test. so he is still in great from.... so whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy my dear foolsssssssss he retires?

The word which tendulkar used 'satisfaction" for whom....for himself. But, he never thought how many genius players are there in india yet to find a place in the team. Tendulkar must think about their "satisfaction" also

@parminder I think in your entire life u never participated in a debate competition.... that was SERIOUSLY ILLOGICAL... Remember there is an age for retirement in any organisation... if people were to go by that sachin should ve retired by now... coz average players retire when they are 35... u dont expect him to play till 38 or 39... coz comparing him with a office goer that would definitely violate the MoA in any organisation... happy now we have put ourselves first...

Your argument is more illogical.There is no fixed retirement age in the sports.As long as an indvidual performs he is allowed to play. Hayden,kumble,stve waugh,ayasuriya..they all played till 38. Then why can't sachin as long as he performs.

i agree with you parminder singh, wonderful answer. how tendulkar able to find a place in indian team, somebody sacrified their place and he got no, his skills, his passion, his talent and his commitment gave him. If any talent person is there then let him show. out of 120 crore population, becoming a member of 11 is howmuch difficult task. if it would have been, ICC says, basing on the population team size can be more, then its ok. So my dear 'cijo' if u r working then resign the job, and if ur still reading just stop reading, so that somebody will have life in your place, can u do it ?
