BULLSHIT DHOKLA - whats there in those pieces of dung.... they shuld eat chicken, mutton pork like aussies & become strong
Because it is tough to understand what he is talking about. If he has seen our Indian team play the CB series, he would have realized it was our running between the wickets which was gazillion times better than their best batsmen Symonds and Hayden. I guess if Oz prepare according to Dizzy, they will be trashed from dizzying heights. In 2004 we lost bec there was poor form of our batsmen, our captain struggling, the fitness was poor. Infact we could have been beaten by Bangladesh that particular series. In Spite of all that all they could come up was 2-1 with a help from rain lord at Chennai when India had to chase only 196 (more) standing at 21 for no loss. If anything Indians have to exploit the over confidence of Oz for the second time.
All top batsmen were in poor form also. The selectors can not look beyond the stars. Better bet for India is make dead placid pitches. Expect our stars score heavily and redeem their record and cement their place for next 2-3 years. Help our heroes with placid pitches so that they don't feign injury and run away from tough competition.
Jason Gillespie is one of the most unlucky and underrated bowlers in the world. If not for an extremely grievous injury in 1999 and a host of other injuries he would have gone on to take at least 400 test wickets..a wholehearted trier, you can never fault his efforts...would have gone on to play for a few more years if he had played for any other team...and an effective stubborn lower order batting to boot also....maybe the only player after Sir Geoffrey Boycott to be dropped after scoring a double hundred...you are a great Dizzy...love you...

I agree, Kamal He was not just a great cricketer - he was also one of the great characters of the modern era in Australian cricket. When he first came onto the scene for South Australia, he was tall and gangly and had long bohemian locks. What is most astonishing is that he was very shy. Over his career, his honesty, strength of character and great sense of humour shone, and he became one of the idiosyncratic wits of the side. (Imagine Mark Waugh receiving a text from Dizzy asking if he felt the same tiredness after reaching 150 in a test innings - "oh of course, you never did that, did you?") He was the quick I always enjoyed watching the most. At his best, I actually thought he was ahead of Ooh Ah (which is saying something). During that dreadful Ashes series of 2005 (yes, I betray my provenance here), the thing that disturbed me most was the disrespect from the English players (in the way they attacked him) and crowds (in taunting him mercilessly) towards Dizzy. Still, he played test cricket again, and even scored that double ton. I watched that match on television, and it was pure delight! Cheers Bob
