When movies are reviewed, the discussion board comments boil down to SRK vs. Rajni or South vs. Bollywood.. i can bet on that..and the comments are hilarious sometimes
aah!! and how can i forget, Raja Sen-haters vs. Raja Sen deep-from-their-heart haters .. hehehe
Similarly, when cricket is being discussed, no matter what the issue is (whether Aussie cricket or domestic or something else), the discussions settle down to Sachin vs. others, mud-slinging on Rahul or Dada, Dhoni vs. sachin etc.
Take this article. The article is on SRT but a few messages down, Dravid is gettng shafted!! :)
my sincere appeal to all sachin haters is to understand his value and contribution to the team. India won a oneday tournament in australia after 22 years.who was the indian batsmen who played giant role in the 2 finals- he was Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. he scored a great century in the first final and a crucial 90 score in the second final. without these two crucial innings,India couldn't have won these 2 final matches. even don't forget his two superb centuries in the test matches at adelaide and sydney. sachin even at 35 is brilliant.

Barring a few eccentric personalities, there are not many Sachin haters. All desis are his fan.
But yaar ab 35 ki umr ka hai vo. 20 saal se khel raha hai. he is still good but consistency main maar kha raha hai. Agreed that he almost single handedly won the aussie odi series but yaar tum log samjho.
He should retire gracefully. I dont want to see the day when he is forced to retire.

tell me which guy is consistent in the team...yuvy? dhobi who had a pathetic test series in australia? raina who was out of the team for one year? buddy its ok if ur logic applies to sachin taking rest while playing against minnows but while playing against teams like australia, his presence is most needed by the team. a dhobi or a raina or a yamraj won't be able to handle the hot aussie pace bowling attack...
This is a great news.India needs tendulkar to fire against the aussies in test series. he is a champion batsman. if he is fully fit, he can do something special in this series.
Saw Arjun Tendulkar in action for the first time today...he has superb reflexes while batting and seems very agressive as a bat..he was also showing good technique(thanks to his father's inputs) while batting agressively at the indoor nets... looking at his batting style, i am sure one day if encouraged by his father he will become a good cricketer!!!
It seems Sachin's mind frame is like he wanted to retain his place for some more time, may be till next world cup,so he is not free while playing his shots to avoid failures and also afraid of media. He should play like he is going to announce my retirement in short time and he needed to give his best and then he gets freeness and then he can perform well.It appears like his sickness is to avoid or hide media and his poor performance.

let him play as long as he wants to..he just made 493 runs in 4 tests one series back in australia..so what makes you think he is playing for 2011 world cup..he himself has said that he is thinking only of the present while batting..not of the future...all this 2011 thing is just media hype which u are so gullibly sucking upto...

To repeat again, Sachin ko ab shanti se fade off ho jaana chahiye.
He can contribute much more if he simply trains the young guns of the team. Uske dimaag main itne strategies and techniques hai ki he can do wonders for the team. Just some role adjustments are needed.
Mr. Chaliya, don't get too emotional or personal in this matter. All desi janta is a Sachin fan. where we differ is how he should bring about an end to his career in the most fitting manner.

who are u to decide end of his career? no one decides to fade off voluntarily, it happens by itself..and under no circumstances it looks sachin is fading off...anyway do u know hsi immense contribution to the team when he is inside it.. be it raina, be it yuvy or dhoni all depend on sachin's inputs when going through a bad patch...and i have seen them come good just after heeding to his tip...
This could be youe swansong Sachin ! Give it your BEST and bow out in a blaze of glory against the (whatever anyone may say) MIGHTY Aussies ! We HAVE to regain the Gavaskar Border Trophy !
God hai tu!!! U have done a great service to the nation and given us many joyous moments. I grew up watching ur wonderful strokes and ur team-spirit.
But as with everything else in life, it is time to call it quits. Good leaders in any field have one common characteristic. They lead from the front (as u did) and also know when to pass on the baton
It is time for u to do the same.
Let the younger gen take over. Doing so will in no way hurt ur legacy or ur statistics.
