Ha ha ha, What silly goat! Sachin is a veggie !!!! who says ? During the NZ trip, I know the hotels he stayed. I worked in one of the hotels and know what he has eaten. I have no problem about what he eats, what he drinks and what he does. He is a fantastic guy. Just simply don't cook up rubbish and start the class war. Sachin has at least 2 more years - purely going by his performance.
Less than a year ago (January 2008), he ended up as the Top scorer in Tests in Australia - Best against the Best... and add to that his role in winning the One day series there as well...
So check your facts or show some basic understanding of the game before making such ridiculous statements.

You are talking of a period a year ago!!! And DADA was dropped after just one bad series in Sri Lanka and that too just 2 months back!!!! Sachin is no GOD and he has to perform or should be allowed to make a gracious exit. We all will always remember Sachin as one of the greatest batsmen who ever stepped on to a cricket field. He does not have anything to prove to anybody but the biggest, strongest and most talented of all sportsmen cannot fight age!!

dada is no way near .. he neaver play as good as last yr .. that's true last 10 yr we r seeing dada performing but in last yr he score his maximum runs in yr dat is 1112.. ok but sachin has score 7 yr of 1200 runs in test & 8 yrs in ODI
Don't be sbusive as one of the person commenting has intentionally replaced the letter "N" from Dhoni.Such thing can be expected only from a cricket expert by watching TV and who has never set his foot inside cricket ground even school level,and may be not even a stadium to really watch and enjoy the nisances of cricket.

sriramji, first see Dhoni's record and consistency in all forms of cricket, and then talk, just because he failed in one innings....and for yr information the Hussey catch u r talking about was a VERY DIFFICULT chance which everybody knows.....so pls dont compare the Up and coming GREAT Indian Captain with the so called seniors...I admire Rahul Dravid, Ganguly & Laxman...And Sachin Tendulkar is a good human being maybe...but definately Tendulkar is highly overrated and he is not as great as he is made out to be in the past 3-4 years .....he hasnt played well for India during crucial matches and especially during major finals....Whereas my dear, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always played in crucial times and won matches for India sevral times and the T20 world cup was his greates achievement in such a short time.......You cannot compare MSD maturity with any of the seniors.Period.

I am not a Bengali but I second that Ganguly is Great.Greater than sachin.Sachin has extreme talent and Ganguly has limied but he makes use of it to the fullest.Sacin is now only playing for records which i doubt he can ever acheive it.If you are the greates batsman of World why cant you read spin or change of pace.I am sure if Sachin was playing for Australia he would have been dropped 1 year back if not before.and Ganguly was still playing for his captaincy and attitude.
BCCI should open a Bank like ICCI.Our so called world famous cricketers should stop playing cricket for the betterment of Indian cricket and promote BCCI Bank instead.Be it Sachin, Ganguly or Dravid, all are spend bullets now.They should be asked to retire or kicked out.The earlier the better for Indian cricket.

Whenver such discussions happen I dont see supporting facts. Except Harbhajan and Ishant, no so called youngsters performed well unless we decide to call Sehwag and Zaheer as youngsters.
This selfish Bengali has been trying to create a rift and factionalism ever since Greg Chappell hauled him up for his lack of commitment and poor fitness(Read : Poor running between wickets, slow fielder)....he took that personally and drived to drive a wedge between the team players who were seen as Chappell stooges and the players who he brought into the team...the likes of Bhajji, Kaif etc...
So, today, if the team spirit is not great, it is cos of this Bengali guy!!
Bengalis have this habit of creating discord and factions wherever they are!! It seems to be an old trait...it seems that they do this for no apparent reason; they just don't seem to like harmony and peace!!
I worked in a major IT consulting firm in Kolkata and the locals were creating coteries and factions....the discord was obvious to me right from day 1.....when the promotions were announced, i was shocked to see that my name was not there insipite of being nominated twice for best performer at workplace.....
That is when i realized that the Bengalis just won't allow me to prosper and i took a practical decision of moving to Mumbai and things have worked out fine here...
sachin got the similar ball like the one ponting got while playing kumble. ponting hit the ball on the ground before giving a return catch to kumble. umps did gv ponting verdict of not out. but gave sachin out. very unfair to sachin ??????
