As per u the records should include all great teams & minnows. Then if bangladesh/ireland beats australia/other great teams what u will say matchfixing.Kapil scored 175 not out against Zim & saved india from world cup exit & won the world cup.U wil say oh he scored against Zim & why others are were out early? u will say matchfixing Kapil payed indian players to get out & bribed Zim to make him run. U may say the match was not played at all all matchfixed. I have not seen such a worm like u with so much venom sprouting on others, It is during Saurav that there was a cohesion among team, earlier there was all politics between players(even in 83 world cup there was tension between Kapil-Gavaskar). If u talk about weakness who is not having it, even sachin has miserable record against Develliers' slower delivery, Dravid was nasty sometimes against spin bowling,Azharuddin used to close his eyes when facing bouncer.Everybody is having strengths & weaknesses. Can u show any body not having weaknesses? First u should see the logic that there is no minnows anywhere, your socalled minnows had beaten ur so many strong teams in last world cup. Where was ur great stat batsmans. Are they bat only against strong teams & cant concentrate against minnows?

its a pity for all the 'wolves' and we 'indians' than it is for saurav. i just hope he gets to have the last laugh!

Dude...don't get too emotional. I'm also a Dada fan, like I'm Tendli's, Dravid's and Laxman's. Dada's a fighter, great player, leader, and all. But one thing I do not appreciate is the comments he made about the other team mates in the team, while still sharing the dressing room, especially during an important series like this. With these comments now the focus is shifted to infighting rather than to play like a unit and win the series. We have made the job easier for the Aussies now.

A great knock is not always made to win, it can also be the one which saves the match. I am not a Ganguly fan,but I guess we should give credit where it is due. Ganguly always came at number 6 or lower, so at that position you can't win matches. Either your upper order has played well and you build on that, else they have failed and one tries and consolidate(read saves the match). I guess this was not the time to drop Ganguly. All that "form is temporary and class is permanent" is bull shit. Pick players on current form and Ganguly was the most in form player right now.

Saved matches is third or fourth innings big score which is only one that too tame draw in 105 tests speaks volumes about quality of his innings.

Then what gangu is for ? no fielding no running between wickets only for runs against weak opposition in tame draws?

Hype VII and facts match fixing.
by sanjay on Oct 10, 2008 06:37 PM

Captain Ganguly India South Africa

1st IND v SAF 09/03/2000 Nehru Stad. (Kochi),India won by 3 wickets

Now you can see Donald who was there in tests opted out,Clusner did not bowl but he was there in the squad.

Pollock,Kallis,N Boje did not finish their quota.
Cronje,Hayward,
Williams,Crookes finishing rest of the overs.

What was cooking up. Did South Africa wanted themselves to loose?

2nd IND v SAF 12/03/2000 Keenan Stadium India won by 6 wickets
What they are up against? same bowling despite earlier defeat.
Same bowling pattern.

4th IND v SAF 17/03/2000 IPCL Sports Complex India won by 4
wickets.

What is going on same bowling pattern. inspite of being two one down in five match series. This should be do or die match for SA. Same bowling pattern.

Real great captaincy by Ganguly and match management by Dalmia combine .He not only motivated Indian players but South African Players for India win
