His total concentration is on Tail enders. By the time these tail enders come in its 400 up. In Srilanka tour as well he had more tail enders, than regular batters.

If ponting plays the number of matches sachin played then he will the batsman with highest runs, and centuries leaving sachin far behind!!

And also Ponting scores heavily under pace bowling conditions while Sachin plays mostly in batsmen friendly sub-cont wickets. Lets call a spade a spade. Ponting is miles ahead of Sachin

Smacks of ur lack of understanding of the game- tendulkar has scored centuries at WACA,MCG,Newlands,Bloemfontein,Old trafford,basin Reserve washington,Wanderers In Jo'burg, against bowlers such as Donald,devillers,Mcdermett,reid,Mcgrath,Warne,Walsh,Ambrose,Akram,Waqar,Shoib,Lee,Flintoff- just tell me which of these bowlers has ponting Faced-and how can any Indian forget during the 90's tendulkar was called 10 for 2 man, Ponting is great in his own right but tendulkar has played bowlers of much higher calibre and smashed em. We used to switch off out TVs when Tendulkar got out. Talk about role in the team!!!

he he for those who r criticising punter, sachin is a better bat than punter but punter is a better cricketer than sachin thx to his fielding and captaincy and punter has scored more than 207 as his highest score and has played great bolrs in tough conditions.
It was very much expected. Pointing is not Agarkar, so it is very natural that he will breaks the jinx. Besides India is probably the best opponent to help regaining form or any similar bad patch.

All rubbish talk. How many you would have done if you were in the team or just talk about your area how much you have done? It's very easy to find the fault of other person but very difficult to when you are there.
