one caught n bowled by kumble turned down by ump n not even referred to third ump. was it a catch or ponting hit the ball on the ground before ball balooning to kumble? it seems it wasnt a clean catch. although kumble appealed, the keeper n slip fielder didnt do much except raising hand for appealing in casual manner without enthusiasm. what do u think...
but then ponting wasnt given out lbw when he appeared plumb in frong of the wkt against kumble!
in order to be world's no.1 team we should have the killer instinct in selectors.they are just being very defensive.to have 5 day matches with 1000runs and 10 wickets.we should go in for all out attck
bhajji is not a quality spinner...he is more into off field activities same as irfan is doing....The moment he came to indian with some inspired bowling & batting...ppl started comparing him with our gr9 Kapil paji....He was able to generate some gud pace & his strength was swing....now more into cuddling with gals....off field...dramas.....& after watching him bowl it looks like that he dont know how to bowl....Sreesanth.....also same...more controversies than performance...this lad is very talented...but always gets off the hook coz of over aggression...& other things.....We need good quality spinners.......chawla has shown some sgns but still very far from best......Batting---Rohit sharma will be a forec to reckon with in Test & ODIs NO#3 batsman in time to come,badrinath...will have to prove himself....Yuvi....has enormous talent but attitue is a problem with some techniniques...as he always pokes the ball outside offstump..& very vulnerable against spin,Mahi....never proved himself a test crickets always faulters against quality teams...Raina....well still playing some cross batted shots...he needs to know ehere his off stump is.....Whats there in future..........???

Yeah, what the hell does it mean ? Ponting breaks Indian duck!!!! Seriously, Rediff Guys must stay awake and away from drinks when writing .....
Indians would have to play out of their skins to get over the Aussies. Even though, they are a young side, they have good players in the lights of Clarke, Hussey, Katich led by Ponting who looked flawless in his technique today. One batting collapse can have India lose the Test Match. The sooner Indians get into the groove, the better would be for them to put up a good show. We must remember, Aussies do not play for Draws....
