Laxman as a fielder
by I on Nov 09, 2008 12:54 AM  | Hide replies

After this test, Laxman will proudly take over teh title of Sloppiest and most sluggist fielder in the Indian team.

Also to say that Robin Singh needs to be replaced as a Fielding Coach..

They say never change the winning combination

Laxman has taken other catchs, even the team which boasts of supreme catchers(aussies) dropped a lot in recent times Do not forget the runs he scored to save our team in the last and this test

Laxman is a very good slip fielder. Also with all the knee problems he is having, still he is always ready to field at forward short leg. I think you are trying to attack soft targets. Before you say this tell me how many catches he has dropped and how many catches he has taken?

Laxman doesnt run either while fielding or while batting!

Why should he run, when he can make opponents run for the ball when he is batting, and take wonderful catches at slips without running?

Good Cricketers never run buddy! Lesser mortals make it up for lack of talent by running hard.

A Saurav or a Laxman never run; they make opponents run for the balls! (whatever balls it may mean!)

Ian Chappell wants ICC to do something about over rates
by arul m on Nov 09, 2008 12:53 AM

Ponting and waugh have never paid attention to this when they streamrolled teams to 16 consecutive wins. When they stumble against a similar move they should be banned from tests.

Aussies somehow want to wing against india, by having more than 7 members banned from playing against them.

IT wont work India will emerge as top team soon enough

Aussies can no longer beat the world
by arul m on Nov 09, 2008 12:39 AM  | Hide replies

Aussies were extremely strong because they had supply of 8-10 super stars at a time
The waughs, glenn mcgraw, warnie, gilly, ponting, langer, hayden, martin as regulars

Lesser players like symmo, bret lee, jason gillespie too shined bright due to the presensce of these stars mentioned above, No other team had similar fortune in this time hence they dominated the world to no end

With the retirement of these stars, the second rung players cannot intimidated. They will also lose to teams often

All the prematch talk will not work

No more mental disintegration of players

Aussies are mere mortals now

See lee without warnie and mcgraw now, that is what i mean, where is the speed Even if he manages 150 those balls will be hit by the batsmen, unlike before, thats my point

I am not very happy that my belief/prediction for 3rd came right, I thought 100 run lead,India need to score 250 atleast.which is what it looks like now.Dont know the result,I feel India does not have good fielding capabilities save the occasional brillance of a few youngsters(eg.vijay).Katich,Hussey need to be sorted out asap.hayden, ponting done

Moron in Headlines today channel
by arul m on Nov 09, 2008 12:29 AM  | Hide replies

In headlines today, they were commenting about bhajji being unfit to lead indian bowling attack being the senior pro. They repeatedly flashed that bhajji picked only 61 wickets during last year at an avg og 30.5, I think this is good run for a player in a years time. If this is not good, then players who play for 10 years or more should have picked 1000-1200 wicktes acoording to the channel

Bhajji is not all that bad what say

Why are you watching this bikini channel. They are a masala channel and can change their views every second. Trust me, tomorrow they will say that Bhajji is the greatest spinner the world has ever seen. This channel is good for Bollywood masala news. Cricket lovers avoid this channel please.

This channel is running short of news.If you hear a neighbour bickering with another, call this channel and they will cover the news for 3-5 hrs.If you miss your popular tv show, reality shows khalis matches or rakhi savant, dont worry, you can see it again in this news channel. Not only Headlines Today, many other channels like Aaaj Tak have detoriated in its content. You can see how desparately they try to conduct fake sting operations.
