Dont be stupid . He is educated enough to carry on more respectable jobs rather than this n now let him be with his family n for jumbo ur persona rocks n we'll miss u but i hope ur wife does not have to miss u any longer.
He is an icon, great ambassador, a fighter, true champion, gentleman & a legend. Words come short to complement him. After achieving all this, he keeps himself simple, cool & calm. If we observe, there wasn't any other match winner in bowling deptt., he has carried this responsibility a long way. Now, when he has called it a day, we all wish him all the best for his life & also like to get cricket served by him in some other way.
Indian Media and Journos can pat their backs, this is scalp 2 for them, bravo, way to go, finish of the remaining three fab cricketers and enjoy the supermacy of whiteman!! Way to go!!
As far as Anil's absense, it is too big a void to fill,India will not be the same against England.Already our Televisions (Headlines today) is waiting for or egging Rahul and Laxman to hang-up after this series. God Save Indian cricket from Indian Journos
Anil and Prince of Kolkatta, you have done India Proud and we will miss you!
I still feel these two retirements are not good for our cricket
I have always been a fan of your strong determination and patience.Retirement of player like you is always a sad moment. Hope to see u perform in IPL...
His decision came at the right time or not ? doesn't matter. Here on we will not be able to see the legend in action in any form of the game ?? Indian team will be missing him atleast for a while before someone could fit into his shoes. Still I believe that he will be contributing to the game in some form definitely. He will be honoured and celebrated by the ICC and the entire world as a Legend of the game forever.
Fighter to the core.. Jumbo gave his more than 100% evry match, every over, evry ball...his bowling record speaks it all..he is perfect role model to all aspiring young cricketers
Cricket followers wordwide will never forget his 10 wicket haul in kotla against Pakistan,His bowling with a broken jaw n taking Brian Lara's wicket, a return catch( his last wicket) with injured left hand with 11 stiches..
V r proud of u.. wish all the best for ur future...
Anil has been a humble guy. his aceivements came from hard work unlike saurav ganguly who is the creation of restricted fieldind and is what we call in hindi phukra.
