SRK hoped to ride on the popularity of Saurav. It would have been a perfect situaion to get more publicity for SRK if KKR reached semi finals. SRK even bribed the Pakisthani board via Dawood Ibrahim to let Shoaib play for Kolkata. But that ploy didnt work. Now SRK will pretend as if he was never interested in cricket, but he owned the team and made appeances in the stadium on the request of BCCI. Watch for it!

OK.. Good suggestions... but how will it increase ticket sales of already sold out stadiums?
KKR is anyway going to play only 2 more games... so dunno why you have put an "at least" before it..

sold out stadiums??? dint u see yesterdays match in kolkata...stadium wasnt full..guess d kkr fans had already lost hope...nt their fault...wat mre can u expect frm a bunch of losers..hahahaha
Well,KKR never had a chance. After the initial ephoria died down, the attitudes of two most egostic persons surfaced and clashed which was an inevitability. You don't win matches either by throwing kisses at the audiance or by grinding your teeth, running up to the umpire and rolling your eye.Glaring examples of how to get the best of what you have are Warne and Pollock. Pollock more so because unlike KKR,Mumbai Indians do not have the glitter of all the best players that KKR flaunts. Warne simply by his down to earth behaviour and never give up attitude stands tall in comparision with the prince of Kolkata. Being popular in your home town is one thing but being successful in binding a team of total strangers in different country and being successful is another. Thats, dear sir, what seperates Leaders from team members
