As per the video footage Rajput was clapping after the incident...that tells the story that Rajput has encouraged Bhajji to slap.. Intresting to see what will be the verdict on him.

You know what it means to clap in India...Of course, Rajput would clap, after all he must live up to his clan and DNA....Get me Steve? Shame on the Manager of an important Regional team and one time Manager of India's international team...Why should the Board also not kick him out of the team for a year?
Read the report on cricinfo. It is very silly. It seems he din't recommend for any punishment. He goes on to say it is upto BCCI to do what they want when the matter of fact is BCCI people are saying that their action depends on Sudhir 'silly' Nanavati's report. What a pathetic state of affairs in such clear cut offenses. Harbhajan should be banned atleast for 5 Test Matches and 10 ODIs.

Just wish you had something inbetween your ears and behind your eyes. the report clearly says that Nanavati was only investigating the incident and he was not supposed to decide or recommend any punishment.

matter solved amicably when bhajji met nana... he may hide some money for nana's in his durban and dispose in nana's table.....
This is a very silly conclusion by Nanavati. I wonder what the process is meant for if such uncalled for behaviour goes unpunished. This is very silly and shows the laxity on part of the people at the helm. Very poor work Mr. Sudhir 'silly' Nanavati.

Do you know what are you writting Mr. Ravi? Nanavati has made a report which is conclusive. He made suggestions and recommendations. It is for the BCCI to act now. What is wrong in that. Nanavati is not the judge to award punishment. He has been asked to go into the details of the incident and report. And that is what he has done.

i think you are getting it wrong. Nanavati is only an investigating Authority, i.e. his job is to reconstruct the event on the basis of the evidence available, written or oral, and come to a conclusion re: Harbhajan's guilt. He does not have the authority to recommend punishment, or the quantum or method of punishment. If he concludes that Bhajji was guilty of slapping Sreesanth, and bringing the game to disrepute, the Board will have to decide on the quantum of punishment in its capacity as Disciplinary Authority in accordance with the Disciplinary rules of BCCI.
In Australia, it was Hyden who said something to Bhajji, it was not bhajji's fault. Bhajji would have said Punjabi gaali "Teri maa ki XXX" which they interpretted as Monkey. In the srisanth episode, Mumbai indians were already down 3 matches. Uspe if Sreesanth would come to bhajji and keep teasing him "tu haar gaaya, tu haar gaya, you loser", it is right on bhajji's part to slap him. Bhajji is not responsible. his 3 crores should be given back to him. What will happen to Bhajji's mother? Unka to dil hi toot jayega....!!!
When he was embroiled in an Aussie tussle, he was supported by almost every Indian and that was the wrong precedence, we put in, which paved way for him to assault his teammate fearlessly and without any reservation. It points that for every guilt one should be punished in consonance with the gravity of the guilt.

The public is not sure whether such a footage is really available. This incident is merely being used to increase the popularity of IPL and to show that the BCCI is "LAW ABIDING".
Just see one factor. Atleast 2 important office bearers of BCCI have bought a Team each in IPL aunction. How they got such huge amount? Just through Salary for being the Officer Bearers???
