IPL,the fatafat cricket,Will not only make the players but also give entertainment to the spectators--Will this improve the quality of the Indian players--I think it is nothing but a money making machine-Long Live BCCI for this innovative idea. Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha.

ICL by Zee TVs Subhash Chandra is not gathering much public attention. I doubt how much attention IPL will able to draw.

BCCI'S THINKING
by Adnan on Mar 17, 2008 05:59 PM  | Hide replies

ON ONE HAND BCCI PAYS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO PEOPLE LIKE 'SYMONDS, HAYDEN AND PONTING' (WHO TRIED TO FINISH OFF HARBHAJAN'S CAREER AND CHEATED TO WIN THE SYDNEY TEST!)

AND

IT WITHHOLD THE PENSION OF KAPIL DEV, MADAN LAL ETC.(THE PEOPLE WHO WON US THE ONLY WORLD CUP!)

THAT IS FANTASTIC BCCI!

It is easy for Rajeev Shukla to say that money is coming from sponsors. But the corporates are only interested in profits so they will try to recover the money in other ways from the public. Like keeping prices artifically high, raising of cinema ticket prices etc.

In the end the public will be paying for it indirectly.

BCCI'S INNOVATION---- IPL
by Adnan on Mar 17, 2008 05:52 PM

I am sure that BCCI would agree that they are the pioneers of the concept of league cricket....that is "OFFICAL" league cricket!!
