Lara was always a selfish players , who paced persoanl milestones above team. eg. his 400 runs in test innings was of no use because it was a tame draw, had he declared more sportingly WI would have won. I think Saurav is at par with Jayasurya in ODIs and better in tests.Sangakara is immense talent and has long cricket left.Hayden is best of the named.Gili, again match Saurav as per records in ODIs and Tests.Hussey wont play as much cricket as he is already 37, and is not eligible for comparism as he played too little compared to Saurav.If any doubts check records and clarify.Another thing, no one can match Saurav is leadership.Saurav a great cricketer.
