CHANNE KE CHAAD PE CHAADE RAHEIN HAIN YOUNGSTERS KO.
by sonuchouhan on Mar 07, 2008 07:53 PM  | Hide replies

This is going to be the most crucial time for Indian Cricket and youngsters. I think they should forget the lourels of Australia and show consistency in future. Cricket is a great game of uncertainty.... Heros of today can easily become Zeros of tomorrow if the aggressions and energy is not directed in right way.

We felt miserably bad after good series in Australia in 2003-2004 which we draw 1-1. Just thinking that we are best team, we have played so well in Australia.... we lost almost every one day international.

So the best advice for Indian Cricketers is that forget about past which is history now and concentrate on game to game. They should remember that every Ining Start from O and every series from 0-0. Its the consistency that matters. And if we keep this winning streak for a good period and hopefully till 2011 world cup then we deserve to call ourselves No 1 team.

Australia is still No.1 team. They have won hundreds of ODIs and Test Matches before being called No.1. They have won 3 consecutive WORLD CUPS. If we are able to win the 2011 world cup..... then we will salute the deserving team.

To all the public and media I humbly request that kindly don't pamper these kids so much that we fell apart in coming series just dreaming about the past lourels.

Very well said Sonu Chauhan. There is nothing wrong in celebrating the victory but the Indian cricket team needs to keeps its feet on the ground and keep working hard to be number 1 in the world. We are still a long way from being the best team in the world. I think the problem we have is that when we win we simply don't find any flaws in our game. I thought Indian played superbly in the first final but Irfan's bowling was a nightmare since he conceded 10 runs an over. In the second final, we could only score 53 runs in the last ten overs inspite of have 6 wickets in hands. Also, Uthappa's approach to batting even when India didn't loose a wicket in 10 overs was beyond my understanding. Nevertheless, the bottom line is that india won and they have every right to celebrate. However to be the best team in the world we need to work on every single aspect of our game.

Most part of your article is as pathetic as your commentary. Sydney test was the worst test I ever saw in my life (Pakistan in Pakistan comes a distant second to the chaos of Sydney Test).

Go ask Anil again what he meant by only one team was playing in the true spirit of the game. You are such a poor human that you thought it was Michael Clarke's dismissal alone. It's Australia Team's boorish and unsporting behaviour as a whole (excluding the warm champion Brett Lee) that made the touring Captain speak out his mind and bring to everybody's attention about what he felt. The fact that Anil is a fine ambassador of cricket made everybody to pay attention to what he said and, yes, if the FALSE allegation of a Racial Slur din't get it's due attention, then all the liars involved from the Australian Team and Administration should consider themselves fortunate. The ugly face of the Australian Team was noted by many Australian Legends and Prime Minister as well and I sincerely hope that those Australian Legends and Prime Minister are not so poor that they came to a common conclusion based solely on Michael Clarke deciding not to walk.

Your account of the Sydney Test is on expected lines as you were the same guy who exclaimed - "you beauty!" when Andrew reached his controversial century in that joke of a Test. Get a life Ian! Start counting the number of ludicrous decisions and look at the ugly face of Australian Cricket. That will help you to be a credible commentator.
