and sachin will join maharshtra navnirman sena.
sachin the great i thaught tu cricket logic pe comment deta hai but tu bhi aisa nikla.
ganguly ko itna hate karat hai lekin yaad rakh agar usne 18000 internation runs banaya hai ti woh india se khelte hua baney hai.
also it the most lon regional captain we ever had. ganguly never backed any bengal player during his captaincy. even deep dasgupta who was better than dhoni got dropped. viru, yuvi, kaif, bhajji, zaheer ,irfan, dhoni all started there careers under dada. aur inme se ek bhi bangal ka nahi
kuch to dada ko respect kar.

This Batting performance of our SENIOR batsmen is just a veil of deceit to lull the SriLankas towards complacency.
They will come out with all their guns blazing in the Test Matches and demolish the SriLankan bowling attack. Just Remember

Glad Parthiv won't keep
by Keshav on Jul 20, 2008 01:10 AM  | Hide replies

Saw his keeping in IPL. Man this guy is awful. He still calls himself a keeper. He might be an useful bat. But he should quit keeping. That is not his cup of tea. Between Karthik and Parthiv i would go with Karthik as he is a better keeper and a player with lot more strokes. Parthiv has two shots. One square on the off other square on the on side. That's it.

just like kumble, u r the fan of karthik. thats y u r saying that.
parthiv is definitely a good keeper now. n as regards batting, he has nothing to prove to the world, as he has scored against the best bolrs. parthiv is much better than karthik.

What the heck are you talking about? His keeping is very awful. He can't dive beyond 1 feet on either side. He has too many technical deficiencies to be a keeper. If you call Parthiv a good keeper better have your eye sight examined. In the IPL he was the worst after Bangalore royal challenger's reserve keeper. I really like to know what Parthiv proved in batting. His highest score is 62 on a flat track.

by Ramanathan S on Jul 20, 2008 02:39 AM
Mr. Vinay. It seems that you were in ur dreams when u wrote this comment. It was quite funny to see you writing about Parthiv having proved something. Dinesh Karthik is anytime better than Parthiv in terms of technique, footwork, temparament and mainly, as a stumper. Parthiv awful stumping was quite evident in the IPL finals. So, no way Parthiv can contest for the post of WK. If you talk of class, even an amateur can tell who has class, definitely karthik. In terms of present form, i think Karthik has put forward a strong case with the unbeaten 58 when the celebrated Indian batting line-up has flopped with the exception of Sachin. So, please stop dreaming and get into terms with the reality.

By the way, people who argue against Karthik's inclusion into the squad, i would like to tell one thing. A couple of lean series doesnt mean that its doom on a cricketer's career. When karthik emerged as the top scorer in England and deservingly, the Man of the Series, everyone praised him. And a couple of bad series, people write him off. Remember the cricketing GODs in India, everyone were given enuf chances to get of their rough patch. I dont want to put any stats, as that will trigger some divided arguements and result in a mess here.

Dhoni...highly committed player in indian team
by Aravind sai on Jul 19, 2008 11:38 PM  | Hide replies

dont talk all stupid...

who will not look for money..when there is a chance of earning good money. that too... it is not just 10000 or 1 lakh....it is nearly crores ofd money in IPL...

just think honestly.... will u ever leave money when there is pretty good chance of earning it...

dont blame just mindlessly...

ya... i agree they r playing for country and representing it.... so is... they are not neglecting the national team... they hv commitment(mot of cricketers hv that commitment)...

may be just dhoni has taken a rest for 1 test series thats it..... there are parthiv and dinesh to do that job anyway.... and one more thing is he is not afraid abt his place.... so he is even giving chance for parthiv and dinesh to prove them again...

so called greats...sachin,dravid,ganguly also has taken rewt many times.... but in the name of injury...

dhoni is brave enough to declare directly ythat he want rest...

Dhoni...The great captain and highly committed player in indian team

Who is committed ?
Not Sachin, Ganguly and Dravid, who all play for PERSONAL GLORY AND RECORDS, and of course the Ultimate Objective-Money. They are great players, but attitude is wrong.

Many International players of repute have stated this.

The new players like Dhoni, Raina, Gambhir etc. play for themselves as well as for the team.

Whose Attitude is wrong Sachin's who suggested Dhoni's name first for captancy to our foolish selectors when they are in catch 22 situation.
Who suggested Dhoni to play Raina at No.3.
Who said always after continuous 7 nervous nintees that team should win whether my centuries would complete or not.
So don't condemn Sachin without considering.
