same nation players competing in different teams. in a more appropriate way, they can start t20 championship between different nations which wud serve the ckt better.
all players around the world hv started thinking of retiring from their national duty to join ipl band wagon. sl vl allow their players to play ipl instead of joining their eng tour next year. but its ridiculous. v vl lose our charm of watching national team with foreign team. same nation players participating in different teams is like a local tourney. i think, instead of playing t20 championship between different nations wud b better for ckt.
I doubt if such an idea will work out. The market here for cricket is the largest, more than 10 times the size of England.
Moreover, the kind of craziness we have for cricket cannot be found anywhere. In any case, it is yet another opportunity to make money for the cricketers and ad agencies.
These UK folks are not able to accept success of IPL. British channels had also shown some documentaries on IPL, their comments were pretty sarcastic on the success of IPL. Now when IPL is successful, they are not able to digest the fact that India has come up with such money spinning buisness model, that is why they are coming up with all sorts of ideas. But they have to realize that Indians and their love for cricket that has made this model successful and not just a business initiative.

wat abt our actors and actresses . Is there ny chance for them to earn sum bucks by watching epl ? and ya even for dancing at finals...
