Everyone criticizes the BCCI, rightly so as well. But while it's true that the BCCI is an inefficient, unprofessional organisation, people often forget that there's an even bigger problem in Indian cricket: the running of state associations. If the workings of the BCCI make you nauseous, lets not even go near how badly state associations are run! From this point of view, the IPL is a positive thing. Because of the franchise concept, all owners of IPL franchises have a business incentive to run their teams as professionally as possible and create a product (T20 cricket) that is as commercially viable and high quality as possible. This competitive pressure SHOULD encourage Indian limited overs and 4-day domestic teams to work to create a product (Test, ODI cricket) viable enough to compete with the T20 phenomenon, meaning better players, stadiums and pitches. This can only be a good thing.
bcci is the richest in world, indian cricketer are richest in world and cricket is considered the religion of india but but but does any stadium match with any australian stadium. explain me why

Why not permit Institute of chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretary etc. to sell their regional members to big corporates as done by BCCI.
Will someone let me know who authorised BCCI to sell this team. It is against the constitution of Government of India.

They are creating teams and selling them. If we don't want them to do it, it is simple - stop watching their matches and all the money these big shots put in to buy these imaginary-teams-for-now will go in drain.

WHY THE BIDDING AMOUNT IS SHOWN ON USD NOT IN INDIAN CURRENCY ,WHAT THE PEOPLE WITH LITTLE KNOWLEDGE LIKE ME WILL KNOW FROM IT.PLEASE KEEP THESE MATERIALISTIC PEOPLE AWAY. IT IS NOT FAR TO SEE THESE PEOPLE RUNNING EVERYTHING & EVEN SELECTING THE TEAM

BCCI was expecting international bidders for the auction and US dollar is standard currency for this kind of bidding.
