hey, you mango pickle..dont forget who took their teams to victory...the aussies did. so dont go around making false accusation against them. aussies, aussies, aussies..oie oie oie!
huge huge risk from Sony, after all it is a unproven format. would people like to watch club games? it would need huge marketing and there are only 3 months left.
How much a state of the art, top of the range stadium would cost? 200-400 crores? How much infrastucture would cost? Top it up with 400 crore per year income of BCCI!
And our stadiums! We dont have even ONE Stadium that is as world class as MCC or SCC. Forget about 'Social'uplifting of other games. if BCCI can only use this money to make Cricket a Glamourous, Profit earning, Tourist Revenue earning enterprise, that will be more than enough to help our economy and thus helping evryone.
But BCCI is headed and filled with Congressi Bhrashtachaaris. They have eaten our country like deemak. 60% of this money will go to Swtizerland.Shame.

it is malady of congressi culture,, earn more and put behind in swiss bank,,,, it is called desh bhagti,,, all cm , pm are doing,,,good on alll,,, until public corporative take care of nation like amul,,under kurian,,
I live in europe, and i understand its a big deal 1billion dollars for 10 years. thats 100 million dollars a year.
This still falls WAY short of football deals in europe. For example the english premeirship have a 4 billion dollar deal for only 3 years. That over 1billion a year.
RE:Not that big a deal compared to soccer!

good point. but its still a lot of money. esp for a developing nation. the overheads in europe is enormous, the kind of facilities and the services are pretty darn expensive. probably apples and oranges, but the football deal is anyday bigger because of its greater reach. soccer is undoubtedly the numero uno, followed by formula one. probably cricket's also up there because of india/ pak/ bangla :) there's a huge mass of people concentrated in the sub continent and mad after cricket!

Who cars how much they earn? we are thinking of our board and our country. we want the board to share a part of it for the development of other sports. Moreover IPL is in its initial stage. Its the first season for them. and remember the value f 1 billion dollar in india is much more than the value of 4 Billion dollar in Europe.

If u live in Europe, you will do yourself and your intellect a favour by using PPP instead of simple conversion while comparing.
While calculating with PPP (Purchaser Power Parity), 100 million dollars is at par with 1 billion dollars in UK if not more. You maybe jealous of India but doesnt help.
With this much amount of money BCCI can create a company of the size of infosys was 4 years ago(Infy became a Billion dollar revenue company 4 years ago). This can generate employment for 50000 indians.Remember its jus a comparision and nobody expects BCCI to do it in real. there are lots of ways they can invest the money for the society..But every one in this country knows where the money will go to. The BCCI members are even worse than the Indian politicians...
Have a voice aainst those BCCI scums. Thay should be made to compulsorily share some part to help promote other sports... wake ma fellow indians be vocal..
