Despite the great uproar over the Sydney test and the tremendous pressure that the Australian team came under from their own media and public, we hear that Cricket Australia has named 4 pacers already for the Perth test to take full advantage of the perceived susceptility of the Indians against pace on pace friendly pitches.
On the contrary, all we hear still from the Indian camp is the noise over the Bhajji episode. Not a word from the selectors, the BCCI or the Indian captain about the team's strategy for Perth. Not an indication yet for Indian cricket fans about the Indian team's resolve to fight earnestly in the remaining two tests. There obviously is a great divide between the Indian and Australian teams in terms of commitment to playing cricket for winning, for securing the series.
The meeting between Kumble and Ponting would be the one between an educated and refined personality like Kumble and a rogue and uneducated crap like Ponting.
Ponting and his teammates do not know 'reason'. They are hogheads and their mental level is restricted only upto their shoulders and nothing above the shoulder except a helmet sometime.
These rogues say that they play a 'hard' game. But they do not possess the thinking power to assess what is meant by 'hard' and what is meant by a 'game'.
Today Symmonds has said that he would not accept any racial joke from a person not his friend! If Indian players have to go by this logic, why should they take any sledging comments and constant babbling in the background from the Australian team members who are not their friends?
Surely, 10 abuses for their one abuse should be the policy of the Indian players.
The Australian players themselves are racists and they are reduced to weeping babies when their own medicine is given to them for tasting!
The present Australian cricket lot is the cheapest of all so far.

the same happenned in 1999 chennai test where Kumble took perfect 10!they werent perfect but they are there!just the way sydney wll be there!

Are Ltiya, naturally the Indian team is heading the list of bad behaviour because all those giving punishments are whites. While the constant sledging by the whites is turned a blind eye at, invariably, asians are punished by them.
Australians are racist were racist and will be a racist always.harbhajan is not their first or last victim.Murali,Arjuna has already suffered in the hands of dirty australians.Fact of the matter is Australians has never expected Indians to play such hard and competitive cricket.They hve warned Indians much before thy started their tour.I salute these bunch of tigrs who has roared and roared like tru tigers.Bcci have to back Harbhjan come what may.A player of sachin's stature would have never voiced for Harbhajan.Australians have been paid back in the same coin and pointing symonds cannot accept that

I think this guy needs to get out of his own identity crisis first before talking about others...
this will resule in truely secular and non-racist game.
also publish a list of allowed and non-allowed swear words in all the languages spoken in member countries, that can be used/ not used by players on the field / umpirers / referees / commentators / ex-players / journalists.

what about the quota for politicians? let's not forget that a politician leavin his ministerial issues (of farmers suicide) is at the BCCI's helm of affairs...
The quantum of hype and noise generated over the Sydney test is truly astronomical.
The only point though that has not been addressed directly by the media and everyone else is that the Sydney test REMAINS STOLEN FROM THE INDIANS and the only way to vacate the injustice is that this test should be DECLARED INVALID BY THE ICC !!!!
I think the Indian cricket fans too are not focussing enough on this (perhaps the only important point).

I agree. Further more if the Australians have an iota of self respect they should accept defeat publicly and should have the result reverted. That I think won't happen as that would rob the cheat named Ponting of his (maligned) moment of glory. These Australians are nothing else but glory seeking pack of wolves. They were beaten nice and proper and that too in their own back yard. The added insult to injury is that they were beaten soundly after winning convincingly in the first test....

Sibby Matthews, I totally agree with you. If the Sydney test were declared invalid, it would be a boon both to the Indians and the Australians. For the Indians, it would afford another opportunity to get even with the Aussies after the defeat in the first test. For the Australians, it is a chance to go ahead and win the Perth test and make it their 16th consecutive test victory (provided fairplay prevails on the field!)
