It is a ball and bat game. You deliver ball by your hand and by your mouth and say we play hard cricket. If you see todays's Times of India the unforgetable sledges column 100% people involved are Australians and that too personal comment. How come ICC never penalised any australian player till date?

Establish Dharma for peace
by Lijjat Papad on Jan 13, 2008 03:51 PM

Invaders and people with devilish intentions purposefully vitiated the Vedic Dharma established in Bharat. The result is there for all to see. People do not respect Brahmins and there is violence, sin and evil all over the world. Everyone is living in fear and there is no love among human beings. Things can only be corrected if all human beings have faith in Varnashram and take up their roles accordingly with respect for Brahmins, Gurus and Bhagwan.

Well Mr Shetty!

Mr Lijjat Papad's post has no meaning for SHITTY people like YOU! Anyway, even before scrolling down to see the replies to the above message, I was sure that such a message would have no takers among the bums here! Another genius who has replied has said "brahmins are the root cause of all evils!" If this is so, I wish to tell him that he and his likes are worse than dirt!

kumble wastes a glorious opportunity to come back in dignity
by Arjun Shetty on Jan 13, 2008 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

yea,,afetr India was thrashed in the first test by 350 odd runs and was humiliated in the second test , Kumble got a great opportunity to diplomatically shift the focus away from the team%uFFFDs pathetic defeats on umpiring issues, aussie behaviour and racial agenda of Bhajji. He should have come back home, now he is doing a great mistake by staying back which will humiliate our team when we lose 4-0 and also the one day series..
Agreed that India were affected by worst umpiring decisions but still i feel that we were in the driver%uFFFDs seat at the end of the third day on a spinning, wearing track with two spinners but Kumble and Bhajji were totally ineffective against a magnificient Hayden and also a part time spinner Clarke takes 3 wickets in 5 ballls to humiliate us..
So we have no excuses for two heavy defeats..
Kumble had a great chance to save his face but he has lost it

after all, for all the big talk, our supposed world class players dravid, little master sachin and ganguly could have steered India to victory in th two tests for all the hype and big talk off the feild..Also, in Melbourne we were CRUSHED withut any umpiring woes..we were crushed to a 350 odd runs defeat one of the heavist in our history..Also this aussie attack is the weakest and inexpeirenced we have seen for the lst say 17 years..No Lawson, no Alderman, no MCdermot, no Merv Hughes, No Bruce Reed, No Mcgrath, No Warne, No Reiffel, No Fleming..for the first time in 5 or 6 series we face an inex

maybe india will give a fight in the next one, definately India needs a blazing start in the opening to do that and jaffer has failed miserably.I think Sehwag if he fires can give India a great start which will make India score freely and put pressure on aussies

benson and hedges was a three series game and it was the only series India won that too way back in my father%uFFFDs time..india has not won a single one day series there other than tha one while aussies have won all the latest one day series in India, a world cup in 1987 in India, ausies reached the world cup finals in 1986 in India..One thing is clear AUSTRALIA IS MILESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
AHEAD OF PATHETIC INDIA
TENDULKAR FOR ALL THE HYPE HAS NOT PLAYED A SINGLE SINGLE MATCH WINNING INNINGS IN AUSTRALIA..IN AUSTRALIA SACHIN HAS PLAYED ZERO MATCH WINNINMG INNIGS..FACTPERIOD..
AUSSIES HAVE WON THE WORLD CUP THRICE IN SUCCESSION ..
20-20 IS NOT REAL CRICKET..IT IS THE DEATH OF CRICKET LIKE GULLY CRICKET WHERE USELESS TENNIS BALL PLAYERS LIKE YUVRAJ AND DHONI CAN STRIVE,,IRFAN PATHAN IS FINISHED AS A BOWLER WHEN A WK STANDS CLOSE BY TO WICKET WHEN HE BOWLS..
ICC HAD REDUCED THE 20-20 MATCHES TO BE PLAYED TO ONE GAME PER SERIES RECGNISING THE NEGETIVE IMPACT THAT IT CAN HAVE ON THIS GREAT GAME..FOR ME TEST CRICKET IS THE REAL CRICKET FLOOWED BY 50 OVERS ONE DAYERS..IN BOTH FORMS INDIA HAS BEEN BRUTALISED BY AUSSIES..INFACT SINCE 1987 WORLD CUP AUSTRLIA HAS KICKED AND HAMMERED INDIA IN ALL FACE TO FAE WORLD CUP MATCHES HUMILIATING INDIA IN ENGLAND, SOUTH AFRICA AND LIKE
AUSSIE INSPITE OF THEIR ATTITUDE PROBLEM ARE THE CRICKET CHAMPS..INDIANS R CHUMPS

your statement that this assuie attack is the weakest of last 20 yrs is not true, it shows immaturity of your cricketing knowledge.
Indians never have or never will have problems with playing cricket against any of the great teams, margin of defeat or victory does not make any difference. The problem is the unfair means by which the aussies tried to gain advantage by resorting to balant cheating. Indians should never play any sport with teams who resort to such cheating.

the facts r facts..no one can change it..facts r that India has never and will never achieve great heights like aussies have . Australia has won back to back 3 world cups..Australia has demolished India terribly in all world cup encounters from 1987 including at our home..Australia has won a test series in India playing on dusty spinning wickets..australia has defeated india many a times in one day series in India..India has not defeated australia in a test series..india has not dfeated australia in a one day series in australia since sachin has been playing..since sachin started playing, india has not defeated australia in australia in a single one day or test series..sachin HAS NOT PLAYED A SINGLE MATCH WINNING INNINGS AGAINST AUSSIES IN AUSTRALIA OR IN IONDIA IN WHATEVER FORM OF GAME..
Australia defeated india in melbourne by 350 odd run which is one of the heaviest defeats of India..fact..period..
I will never get the thrills from indian batters like i get when gilchrist and hayden hammer Indian and sri lankan bowlers in the first 15 overs of a world cup final..india will never produce cricketers like warne, mcgrath and steve waugh who won many matches single handedly..kumble is a inswing slow medium pacer not a leg spiner as rightly pointed out by Trescothick

hey BTW mr Arjum whatever, its not only India and Srilanka which got thrashed by the world champs, Pakistan too got hammered and raped by the great cricketing nation. Well i support u on most of the comments about the last match. It seems u have been shattered from inside after that defeat, no worries mate we will try to come back and win and moreover its more important to be peoples champ than world champs.
Hey Btw did u loose some satta or somethin like that on India kya. Chill dude and watch for the extreme words u r writtin. Cheers.

supposed indian greats like sachin has never won a wortld cup and has never played a great world cup final( he was clattered out by the great Mcgrath in 2003 final and alsoin the 199 world cup in England for a single digit score)..sachin has gone without achieving anything for all the hype

yaa for the first time in 6 or 7 series we find a relatively easy and an inexperienced aussie attack and that too on Melbourne and Sydney pitches which were similar to Indian pitches, we can teven compete wth aussies..
Hogg the main spinner of the assies cant even take a wicket in the indian second innings while a part timer Clarke takes 3 in 5 balls..Also, inspite of umpiring errors, India were in a powerful situation at the end of the third day in Sydney when the spinners failed toi even make an impact on Hayden and Hussey.
In Melbourne, India was fairly and squarely thrashed by 360 runs one of the heaviest defeats India has suffered all time..
Kumble gets a chance to ave his face and to come back home with the umpiring issues, bhajji´s racialissue and aussie attitude but then, he decides to continue the tour where India will be thrashed 4-0

Yet, India might have won if Symonds had been rightly given out when he was 30 !!

And India would certainly have drawn the test had Dravid and Ganguly not been so outrageously given out on the final day.

No use being blind to these stark miscarriages of justice.

India would NEVER have won dont say that..Maybe if Symonds had been given out , Say Australia would have made 200 ..India could have been allout for 150..How can u say that India could have made the same score?u r an hypocrite..also australia played better in the second innings,.,also i can say that australia would not have dropped two catches of Dravid and one easy one of Laxman which gilchrist dropped,,maybe sachin would have been out for a low score..Hypocrite, how can u assume things?
Aussies dominated from the 4th day when the pitch was favouring spinners and that is a triumphfor them.India will NEVER WIN A SERIES IN AUSTRALIA, never..i dont see replacements for Sachin, Dravid ganguly and Laxman and the upcoming team in future will be very weak

Since Sachin, Dravid and Co couldn't win - Why ? Because these people failed as Batsmen ? So, it's time new guys out of 1 Billion are given a Chance - Take for Example - Ishant Sharma - they would have never played him but for the injury to Zaheer and he's proved that his worth it ?

A few days ago there was talk of calling off the tour, now Pawar has said there is no chance at all of the tour being called off. Where is our self-respect as a nation ? We get trampled on by the whites (Ponting,Hayden,Clarke,Benson,Procter) and blacks alike ( Symonds,Bucknor)and take it lying down. let alone all the bad decisions and the disgusting behaviour of the Aussie players, the minute Harbhajan was convicted by Procter without any evidence whatsoever we should have cancelled the tour and lodged a protest with the ICC against all the culpable perties. Instead, because of the almighty dollar, Pawar, the BCCI and the establishment ( read ESPN/Star, big corporate advertisers etc and so many more)have all swept the matter under the carpet.

Country's self respect comes at the last in the priority of the looting combination of BCCI
and money comes first..
Pawar has done so much to get rid of Dalmiya to control BCCI..
Now will he forgo the chance to become ICC president for the sake of self respect of his country?
No he will never like to offend his white masters whose vote is essential for ICC presidential election.

U r right BCCI's handling of the situation was pathetic to say the least. In any sport u cannot (and should not) compete with cheats...and Aussies are the biggest cheats. When will BCCI have balls to take some tough deceisions.
