He can not be isuing statements like this at this point. We India had to pull out they should have done it right in the begining. BCCI official should have taken care to select good and fair umpires right in the beginig. There was a history between Team India nad Buchnor. Indian players should have been instructed on how to keep cool and also made sure Aussies behave. Allegations on Hodge was good. That is the way to act. Indian team has to do every thing that is politically correct.Instead of spitting out abuses in Hindi which can be twisted and taken advantage of.

BCCI president says tour not at risk

'No question of a pull-out' - Pawar

Cricinfo staff

January 12, 2008

Sharad Pawar says Sachin Tendulkar's version of events in Sydney indicated there were no racial comments from Harbhajan Singh %uFFFD Getty Images

There is no possibility India will pull out of their tour of Australia even if Harbhajan Singh's three-Test suspension is not lifted, according to the BCCI president Sharad Pawar. The board has given Pawar the sole authority to cancel the rest of the trip and earlier comments attributed to Pawar indicated he may use that power if he was not satisfied with the result of Harbhajan's appeal. ......

What about the test we lost in sydney. Ask Indian team to come back or let the BCCI assure us that the same thing happens to aussies when they tour India

correct. either rediff is lier or pawar is changing statements every day depending on the situation.
earlier also when ponting pushed pawar out of the dais during icc champions trophy in ind, earlier pawar said there was nothing like push away, then he said v r good host, then 3rd day, he said he was humiliated by ponting when political parties like ss made an issue.

mr pawar beware of ausi n icc
by uncle shame on Jan 12, 2008 03:13 PM  | Hide replies

if u urself r not doing acting against ppl n emotionally not using the opportunity.

threat abt pullout may never happen as bhajji's case may b postponed till the end of the tour n during final hearing, racism charge may b confirmed. so ultimately ind will b the loser from all the angles, neither bhajji can get justice nor ind can pullout of the completed tour.

if bhajji can b charged immediately but hearing delayed, y hogg is not even charged, even after one week of the incident.

the best way to target ausi cheaters.
by uncle shame on Jan 12, 2008 03:08 PM  | Hide replies

while playing them, put the microphones in pockets. the moment their abusive language or provocations r recorded, just come out of the field without replying any of their provocations like bhajji was forced to do.
show the proof to the authorities concerned, dont go to the field again, unless any action is taken against the culprit. (just come out like inzy did in oval, eng).
n still icc doesnt do anything, then break away from biased ausi favouring icc n strengthen our own acc. just expose ausi the cheaters.
