i am not coming back ever to read anything on this discussion.i have not read any posts.
gillepie is bang on and has said all right, u wombats, U MORONS, go and get a job, india have nothing apart from cricket, australia have any number of major sports, india's population is 70 times bigger than oz and yet india have been a joke in all sports historically and v all know it and yet the aussie cricketers make any no of times more money than the indian cricketers, i have recently moved to sydney from delhi and i can tell u that aussie cricketers do not even get one percent of the hype and attention compared to the indian cricketers, people in oz are not crazy about stars and aussie cricketers have performed twice better than the indian cricketers.

If players can play for IPL, Why not IPL
by SC on Dec 07, 2008 10:39 PM

Both are private leagues :) and if someone really sue they have good chance to win (Which ICL is planning to do anyways)

Other countries don't have choice except to listen to BCCI, but that will change soon once all other countries stand unite (I guess SL or England will lead this move)

Gillespie

Jason Gillespie is a big joke. If he loathes the shortest form of the game so much why sign up for it. He is a big disappointment as a player himself.

dissapointment as a player himself....it looks that you have a vewry short memory...he was their premier bowler and destroyer in chief when aus last toured india in 2004...he was the one who decimated indian star-studded line up on that grassy pitch in nagpur in 2004.

This is absolutely ridiculous that foreign cricket boards are not allowing players playing in ICL. What is wrong in playing in any league?

After all ICL is not a rebel league of CA. Gillespie is aboslutely right that CA is dancing at the tunes of BCCI. They should learn from Srilanka board, which is allowing their players in ICL so that they get best exposure and they select the best team.

Actually BCCI should also consider players performing well in ICL. This will be a fair criteria to find talents.

Gillespis is the only player who hit 200 runs in the test innings and after that suddenly he was dropped by the Cricket Board of Australia. He never picked for Test side after that
