It was really a thrilling match!!!!!!!!
by Kishore Lalwani on Apr 07, 2008 05:35 PM

Every single ball was worth watch. This is really called a final match.

Lahore Badshahs won all the matches prior to finals but couldn't make a single win in finals which is a real compliment for Heroes.

Keep it up ICL. Waiting for INDIA VS WORLD VS PAKISTAN series. Hope it also provides such a fun.

All the best Kapilpaji. Gr8 going.

Banning ICL is a loss for others !
by satish satyanarayana sharma murthi vemaraju on Apr 07, 2008 03:56 PM  | Hide replies

Banning players like Imran Nazir, Farhat, Rana Naved, Bond etc; is a huge loss for their respective National Teams ! ...

ICL works for Cricket .. were as IPL works for Money ... its is a sad state where Money Counts more than the game !

ICL is the one who pretends to be for cricket but it is actually initiated just for the sake of earning money...everybody who is with ICL is for money and only money...At least IPL do not pretend.

IPL purchase every player by "boli".In vagitable market same thing happening everyday. So our BCCI player are not playing for money!!!!!!!! Atleast somebody has to give them money so they can do some runs in test match also(76 all out).

Regarding the Pak players, they were in and out of the team for lack of consistency and well known politics. May be Pak team mgmt is not like BCCI selecting players based on reputation and not on pure performance.

so whats wrong with that?
They were discarded and know they are not going to be picked again.
Just to escape people like you who keep condemning them for earning money, they should just shut up and keep quiet and follow your narrow judgemental view of the world?????

very well deserved win by the heroes. the paki team was overconfident and proud, which is not good for 20/20. the lahore team has be happy with runners cheque even though 1 cr less.

LAHORE BADSHAHS
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Apr 07, 2008 03:46 PM  | Hide replies

What The team exhibhited as a Team - If Pakistani Tems have done they would have been the Champions in all forms of cricket for years. Most of the times the members of the teams defeated by themselves.
I always thoght Razzak was the best bet in 20/20 and 50 overs game to open - albeit with instructions to be a bit careful .He is far better than Afridi interms of pure hitting - The Pakistan team can never asses the loss it had and teams world over to be thankful all stalwarts and coaches could not ponder this.

It was a wonderful series - ICL can only gain if it can pick teams from Australia ,England ,West Indies - not all retire , with some out standing players who will not Suck the Board Policies.

Well done !ICL looking forward to put BCCI in its place.

IPL too has oldies and retires players like Warne and McGrath. Moreover, all the Australian players are not playing all the IPL matches. Atleast IPL players are dedicated to their teams.

They were much much better than the Indian paper tigers who folded up for 79 runs in the first innings and lost by a margin of more than in innings in the second test against SA. Any of the oldies from ICL would have performed much bettef! Samjhe Ch*try !!

In 20-20 games, since most of them end up being so close, it's obvious for someone to expect it to go to 'bowl-out'. This particular instance, in the last couple of overs, even I thought it might end up being that. Poor fellow "Tony" was so confused that he lost count in the bowl-out. Really funny to hear his commentary on the bowl-out.
