IPL is unofficial.What does BCCI think? I think the present office bearers should be banned for conducting an unofficial tournament that affects all member countries of icc bcos of the extra burden on their current playing cricketers who have no rest and injury prone.What public needs good competitive cricket with players fit and giving 100% to the game.Money should not dictate game. The game should dictate money.Its a rediculus,funny, insane,foolish,barbarian decision to ban Shoaib .I am very sure his ban will be lifted by Pak soon after second thoughts. I know why Modi has to support pak board, he is inviting politics to ICC.
I really wish that the IPL should be a big time flop, one of the most boring cricketing event world has ever seen. This way BCCI will learn a lesson that money is not important than Cricket. It is really bad to see the Kolakata Knight Rider ad on TV. The players are dancing, playing football, singing songs.. they are doing everything except Cricket.
Akthar has been banned from playing for Pakistan. What the heck has IPL, a private league, (albeit baited by BCCI) got to do with it? The people who have bought into the IPL pie had better watch out! They will be paying through their nose to recruit stars that will bring in the crowds only to end up seeing them "banned" by their respective boards for some silly reason or the other. What did Shoaib do that prompted such action? The truth will never be told or know. But the IPL reacting to it thus is asinie to say the least. This is the pits of professionalism. Who do they think will bring in the crowds if such stars are not there? Who will insure TV viewership? Will anyone switch on the TV to see Modi give a speech or will they come to see some dibbly-dobbly bowler? Shahrukh it is high time you people who have paid the cash put your foot down and ask these nincompoops to come up with definite policy regarding such issues.
If Akhtar loves to play cricket he should't be worried as to play criket he will paid in ICL or IPL so he should'nt be worry abt his Cricketing career , anyway PCB is less organised than any Indian Cricket State Board.

if he loves then he should obey,and not make an issue by lifting or hanging on others shoulders.
I would like to ask Mr. Modi, why can't Shoaibh play in the IPL? The pakistan board itself said that Shoaibh is free to play in the IPL so why the hell does Modi have a problem with it? I'm telling you, the IPL is gonna be a big failure.

Wahy you are against Modi for removing Akhtar .. Guys commonm try to support the dicesions .. If he would have allowd to pay its same would have told Modi is nonense because he allowed to play Akhtar..

Boss....the issue is IPL is not a ICC recognized board...and to be in the good eyes of ICC...IPL has to bann Shoib no matter wat is right and wrong... As of now the goal of IPL is to get ICC recognized by ICC which will make them globally recognized and will fetch some more money n audience !!!!! As a chairman for IPL boards Mr.Modi is just doing his job by hook or crook.
