Dear Rediff, Shoaib Malik was caught by Rohit Sharma bowled by IK Pathan & not his elder brother Yusuf Pathan. Please checkup the details before publishing such error matters. In the Final Match of 20-20, YP scored 15 runs, bowled 1 over in which he gave just 5 runs, took the catch of Yonis Khan bowled by Joginder Sharma.
First Hail the best batsman - Gambhir who scored more than half of India's runs and then hail people who scored 5 runs and 10 runs. I am really stunned the batsman who almost scored a century when others were struggling to reach double figures is not even selected for man of the match award and not even talked about in the media. We ungrateful people deserve to loose the ODI series to Aussies.

absolutely correct especially when only two batsmen gambhir (75 runs) and rohit (30 runs) contributed and rest failed... but see wt REDIFF is doing coz REDIFF has been bought by smbody from fuckistan... and throughout the tournament R P Singh bowled like a champion... but still this article is useless as i feel it was a excellent team effort and each member contributed 100% so its wrong to glorify anybody particular...

Well....india made only 154( something) which is not enough to win the Final. Pak was almost in winning position.....if it wasnt Pathan and his kiling bowling, india wud have lost the match....he got 2 wickets in a over which brough a hope to win th cup....and Also he gave only 14 runs which is even Less in 50/50 match..........and at last You r SICK MISTER FUKESH DALAL.....u guys cant even listen 2 word praise for MUSLIM in India...........yeh match kia teri Maa ne jeetwaya haii kiaa....Dr AbduL Kalam kia tera baap haii ...All khan in Bollywood -------------They Alll r Indian Muslimmm.......u cant cut ur one finger out of ur hand

Accepted. But no one is pointing fingure towards Pathans nor indian muslims - read indians. Its just sheer anguish that Gambhir's name was not even mentioned anywhere where he was the top scorer. the same happened with Krish srikanth who was the top scorer with 38 runs in the WC final '83. but only mohinder amarnath was hailed as he was man of the match.

1-0-5-0 is his bowling figure. Though, he should have been given one more over at least instead of either bhajji or srishanth. it is pakistan that succumbed to pressure and india sustained. lets give credit to the team and not any individual.

both the things are impossible. One - they can not or would not improve. and two - they cant think of facing india leave alone defeating india.
This article is totally unecessary---why glorify this innings--if he cant do what he did he does not deserve a place in the team either. Such stupid articles by rediff should stop.
