Rediff writers/commentators are worse than Shoab Malik, Paki captain, who thinks that all muslims of the world were playing with Pakistan. You are bringing communal thoughts in the game. Shame on you. Modi ji has kept mum wisely, otherwise sickulars like you will cry foul, if he announced any prize and Pathans turned down it. This is what you want?

Do not communalise the game. What the right this poltician have to through the public money like this. If it is so, it should be given to all sports. Why not hockey player, they won the asia cup recently. why not to sania who has the highest ranking till now. so and so...

well if your Pakistani and Arab bosses are giving you money for bombing Hindus .. someone has to do it for Hindus
I feel giving rewards toonly Cricket player is not fair. As few week back hockey player also done a great job. There are lot many other games are there which also needs to be promoted.
So Narandra modi is absoultely correct and not a part of bad trend.

dear, money should be spent to devlope the sports, not after winning the sports. Why we are not able to win the world cup or olympic medal, because of this only, we are able to give Rs.1 crore to individual after winning, but we can not spend the single penny to develop this individuals.
