Gautam Gambhir should be rewarded.
by saturn on Sep 26, 2007 06:33 AM  | Hide replies

Is anybody aware of Gautam Gambhir? He is the highest scorer on Indian side and the final match could not be won without him.

Yeah. UR correct there except that I'm a stupid.
See, can India give cash awards to Misbah or Afridi for not playing? Give to Gautam Gambhir for his 75 runs as well as for being on the top of the Indian batting table at the end.

MONEY
by SURESH KUMAR on Sep 26, 2007 06:13 AM

How can they give the tax payers money without asking the people.
I dont think BCCI/POLITICIANS are giving money from their pocket.
They are competing against each other to make sure they are paying more than the other person.
Dont corrupt the young budding cricketers mind with money, allow them to play their natural competitive cricket.
No more favours to any one zone{east/west/north/south}any cricketer who is worthy enough should be given the chance.

Whose money are they wasting???
by vishal raghuvanshi on Sep 26, 2007 02:06 AM  | Hide replies

I think it is the responsibility of the BCCI to take care of Players. Why are all these politican throwing away tax payers money? IF they really want to felicitate them then do it by paying it from their own pockets.
People are dying of hunger in j'khand! do something about that.
Succors just want publicity nothing else!!!!!!!!

I totally agree with you on this man.

Although this was a huge discussion on the night of the match on rediff. However what is surprising me now is the way the state govts are shelling out the tax-payers money to make richer the richest!!!! Whats with the way the govts are racing against each other?

I second that. Excellently put Jagan Mohan. If a team is playing for religion before country....I think their ideology has gone astray.

Joginder Sarma and Ajit Agarkar
by JM on Sep 25, 2007 10:13 PM  | Hide replies

J.Sharma and Agarkar are also getting paid. Not sure what they did.

It is pathetic that in a country like India where millions play cricket we dont have allrounders better than Ajit Agarkar and even worse- Joginder Sharma.

You a&ss&ho&le!! Do you even understand the meaning of a team??
All 14 cannot play at the same time; it does not mean that they do not take part in on-field drills, practice sessions, bowling in nets etc!!

An uneducated sc*um like you can only make stupid statements cos you have nothing else to do!!
Cha*prasi bho&sad&ch&ot ki au&lad!!
Agarkar tere ma&de&rch&od ba&ap ka nahi kha raha, be*hen ke l^aw^de!!

Aapna muh band rakh!! illiterate scu*mbag!!

Shoaib Malik said..

"First of all I want to say something over here. I want

to thank you back home Pakistan and where the Muslim

lives all over the world."

It is a world where Muslims, Hindus and a Sikh currently

play for England, where Buddhists, Muslims, Christians

and a Hindu play for Sri Lanka, where Hashim Amla turns

out for South Africa, where a Patel plays for New

Zealand, where Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and Hindus

play (and have always played) for India. Why would

Shoaib think, then, that the Muslims of the world were

collectively rooting for the Pakistan team or that they

felt let down by its defeat? He thinks Pakistan team

is a Muslim team that plays for the Muslims of the

world?

Shoaib the bowler who took your wicket was called Irfan Pathan, the guy who was hugging Indian players, was one Shah Rukh Khan. I feel a residual distaste in even mentioning their names because both Shah Rukh and Irfan are admired in India for what they've achieved, not who they are.

If a so called soft spoken leader thinks like this imagine what is common mentality of all his team mates and all Pakistanis.

It is this kind of mentality, pressurised poor Youhana to change his relign to continue his cricket. Made danish kicked out of the team.

Ho god please save this people and treat this sick minds as soon as possible.

IT WS A REAL DISGRACE FOR HINDUS AND THE HEIGHT OF MUSLIM APPEASMENT THAT IRFAN PATHAN GOT THE MAN OF THE MATCH AWARD
IT WAS CLEAR THE IT WAS DUUE TO RP SINGH THAT WE WON THE MATCH AND DUE TO THE BATTING OF GAUTAM GAMBHIR THAT THE MATCH WSA WON BUT IT WAS THE SEUDO SECULARIST DUE TO WHICH A MUSLIM WAS GIVEN THE AWARD
I WONDER WHEN HINDU PRIDE WILL WAKE UP
FIRST I WANT TO QUESTION WHY DO WE NEED MUSLIMS IN THE TEAM DONT WE HAVE FAST HINDU BOWLERS THAT WE NEED THE LIKES OF IRFAN PATHAN AND THEN WE HAD TO CARRY HIS WORTHLESS BROTHER ALSO
AS A PROUD HINDU I WOULD LIKE TO PUT FORTH THIS POPULAR DEMAND THAT IS GROWING LIKE A WILD FIRE IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY CALLED BHARAT
THAT WE NEED A ALL HINDU TEAM MINUS MUSLIMS
SIKHS WILL DO BUT NOT MUSLIMS
IF THESE DEMANDS ARE NOT MET THEN SURELY HINDUS WILL TAKE TO THE STREETS
JAI HIND
JAISHREE RAM
JAI BHARAT MATA KEE
