father's emotions
by ashish sinha on Sep 24, 2007 08:50 PM  | Hide replies

its good to see a father finally happy at what he invested in his son.

i wish if all fathers were like that... and all sons could make their fathers proud.

I greet parents of all indian cricketers, and nonetheless all indians who r playing their own part ot make their nation stronger.

Sreesanth is heading nowhere with his stupid bowling and unwanted mad behaviour. He should be concentrating on bowling better rather than doing stupid acts on field

Sreesanth is practising mental disintegration of the opponent like the Aussies used to do and be proud of. We all should be proud of Sreesanth, that finally we have a guy who pays back the opponent in their own coin.

I would say the Board should have a fund to meet the expenses towards fines imposed on him while doing mental disintegration of the opponents.

We have a MAN after a long time in Indian Cricket. Celebrate.

who can give the right rply to the play like NEL

He should not cross the line, otherwise it looks bad.If only he backs this with performance then it counts otherwise he will be discarded from the team pretty soon. Let him perform atleast half of what other great fast bowlers did before doing this.Look at his bowling in this tournament. One good spell against Aus but in each of the remaining games he went for 11-12 runs per over. He should focus his energy in getting more wickets and show aggression in the bowling rather than this doing theartrics.

sure sri is fanatic & erratic at times but he has the guts too do something which most of the bowlers have not shown : "" AGGRESSION "". Now this Aggression needs to be polished.... and Sri will undoubtly become a winner.

yes he can....Bradman did'nt play well in all the matches and no one either could ...so Yuvi can still shape up to become a "2nd Bradman.."

I like Sachin's batting and i remembered my batting. It was not the statement of Sachin's father. It was given by CRICKET LEGEND BRADMAN.

what the dad wants?
by Great Akbar on Sep 24, 2007 06:41 PM  | Hide replies

What the dad wants the playboy to do? Bradman is too slow to the likings of the playboy son. Should be remembered like the nurse champion Shame warne or the not so far away Playboy Imran Khan. Never a criminal like the dad

Bigger Nonsense: Yograj or Rediff!
by Kalarab Ray on Sep 24, 2007 06:04 PM

No wonder Yograj Singh (a father blinded by his son's success) would wish his son to be remembered as the 'second Bradman'!

But how come Rediff has given so much importance to that!!
