If sehwag scores 1 fifty, that is good for selecting him in the team. If badrinath scores consective 3 fifties, hes not good enough to be in the team.
Poor Badrinath, go and play in england. You will get money aswellas the publicity. Its the indian mentality that only after the foreigners told, they will accept the talent.
A great example. Murali Karthik. He makes into the indian team 12 or 13 th time(13th comeback). If the selectors know that if hes good, they should persist him. He got a wonderful action to perform(BEDIS WORDS). In the world cricket if vettori, panesar, harris are bowling well, why not karthik?
he was insulted somany times because selectors have always overlooked him by picking average players like RAHUL SHANGVI, NILESH KULKARNI and SUNIL JOSHI.

Just play, sehwag game will be over against pakistan for ever, just prep for the Aussies.
Relax, if it is in your Bhagya, no one can take it away.Relax and play, if you see, it is not happening, just keep playing as BCCI is paying good money.Enjoy life, get sttled.
Its not that,that only Team India players have life, they just have a little more money.

Even if shanewarne or muralidharan played for southern part of india, they wont get selected for greatest bowlers like rahul shangvi,nilesh kulkarni, nikhil chopra etc...

well said mathews!!!! Definitely BadriNath, Raina and Dinesh Kaarthick should be selected. The most unluckiest guy is BadriNath. Vengserkar yesterday told that they selected best 15. how come a player like Badrinath missed out. How come a player continuosly failed in the 20-20 and one fluke innings 75 deserved a place in indian team. God Save Indian team from these bunch of jokers!!!!

Shewag made a challenging 1 run in challenger tropy final and hence got a place instead of Dravid.

I agree Schewag did not perform anything well to be there in the team....
Bur there are is something as class or potential.....given day Schewag at his best can destroy opponent , which is required beginning of a tour like Pakistan.....I can assure u will also agree Raina/Badrinath/Kartik may score more then Schewag but even in their best day they will not be as destructive as Schewag......... So I think we have took a chance with schewag against Pakistan , if he clicks that may set the Series for us.....I will say good move by selectors.....if he fails no worries Sachin/Ganguly/Dhoni/Yuvraj and Utthapa should manage (may be we miss few runs from Badrinath/Raina : but how much do u sincerly expect from them , 60 from 75 balls)????
but schewag can do that 60 in 40 balls and change the complexion of the series......lets take a chnace as we can afford to do as we have strong batting line up to follow even we loose him...

Dont crap here.... if u donno anything go to cricinfo and see the tournament strike rates and averages.... badri hasd 3 fifties (strike rate - 80 ), raina 3 fifties (Strike rate well above 100), Kartik one fifty & one (n only) century (strike rate well above 100) as per you what the hell is Rohit Sharma & Sehwag doing in the team then?
Raina was good n consistent so was badri. Dinesh karthik also played crucial innings. but amit mishra was the bolr to watch out for. India shud look at him. If murli kartik can b tried, mishra is a good option of leg spin boling, he is more matured bolr than young piyush chawla.

Karthik once again proved that he can pace his innings according to the match situation and loves to handle pressure situation. He is already a player for the future and has nothing to prove to the selectors. I'm much happy that he got dropped from the squad for the first 2 ODIs, rather than picking him and make him to fail in that unlucky/uncomfortable 1 down position and spoil his ODI career... Even if he is going to be picked, please utilise him as a middle order (Or) a lower middle order batsmen. That is his strength and he loves to play in crunch situation.
ALL THE BEST to both Karthik and Raina and I'm sure they will comeback to the side much stronger and tougher...
