It really pains me to see such a player out of form for so long, he was the only other batsmen other than Sachin who made bowlers wet their pants before the first ball was bowled.Team India won't same again without him.
I believe Sehwag should be given one series (full series). He is the kind of talent that when it starts clicking will dominate the best. This is similar to what happened to Mat Hayden till he toured India in 2001. Sehwag is losing confidence. He did reasonably well in the T-20 games. He had a 60 score against the english and a 50 against New Zealand. He failed against Pakistan in the first game and in the game against Australia he was injured.
This writer wants to just create some sensation saying Sehwag is old story now. I dont really understand these idiots in Indian criket media.
When a player is down you try and help him if you can. If he is going down, you dont have to kick him down. Disgusting journalism.

I dont think he deserves any chance at international level. He needs to prove on domestic front first. I still remember the time when one journo asked him that what is the difference between you and sachin and he replied 'BANK BALANCE'. Poor guy if only realize that he is not god but needs to work on his technique, he will be a star again. Look at the way he has been getting out.

I dont agree with yoy Jim. Sehwag has chance prove his form and mettle in domestic matches, occasional 20-20 also. Why can't he try to play for english counties as well and perform? we should not select any player on his past performances..they should first prove in domestic circuit

I agree to some extent.. Ganguly got his chance last year after a string of poor and ordinary shows in ranji trophy--i remember big news abt zaheer bowled him first ball also...He got chance just because Yuvraj was not there.. Sehwag has had his break..If he doesnt go to AUS; india will lose badly..remember last time in IND in2004 he was the only one to stand up although IND was out of form..its the same here..all he needs is confidence..he did well in 20-20 he will do well in tests and ODis too.. We will anyways need him to replace Sachin in longer run after sachin has retired--both in tests and ODIs.
