Indians don't have anything to do with Racisism
by Surajit Dash on Oct 16, 2007 05:52 PM  | Hide replies

Racism is a western concept. India has its own concept of Racism - Caste and religion factor.

Has anyone ever heard Indian spectators abusing a Muslim Player or a christian Player? Or a Brahmin player and a SC-ST Player ? Or a OBC Player ? Never.

The whites themselves are racists -- why put the blame on India? We Indians are not white skinned. Where is the question of Racist abuse by Indians?

This is a pure misconception of Aussies. Ponting put it in the head of Symonds so that he gets charged up for his Century :). They themselves are not good on the field - Sledgers. Chor Machaye Shor !!!!

SYMONDS
by damodaran mohan on Oct 16, 2007 05:51 PM

once Symonds is not sure of the crowd chants it is better such incidents are ignored. on the other hand the crowd should learn to respect such a great player like Symonds who has been easily the best allong with Hayden among the aussies. in fact Symonds has been more useful as a finisher consistently for on their wins. i hope the mumbai crowd will behave more responsibly and give the respect due to Symonds in line with indian culture.

Where was the BCCI. Are we going to put up our case anytime in the future with hopelessly spineless Nirjan Shah, Rajiv Shukla and other BCCI office bearers. They hardly have any capability to talk about the game of cricket leave aside the contentious issues.

Shame on BCCI before we bang ICC for their biased behaviour. All the money cricketers and BCCI earn is on the expanse of national pride. Its all money business, INDIANS and NATIONAL PRIDE does not figure in BCCI list.

Forget about everything. Let us go and cheer team INDIA and BCCI for yet another humuliation. INDIANS are made to waste time and money, to cheer up lackluster but glamorous cricket euphoria.

bcci is more interested in minting money with icc for so called t20 world championship only. they r not interested to confront icc for issues like pride, honour, etc.

This is a serious issue. BCCI should register a strong protest to ICC. But our board members are not bothered of these things. For them money X money=money square..Just see how they they tackle this issue and let it loosely go.Its a known fact that australians result in high level sledging behind the wickets, focussing the batsman. They play better mind game. They have no rights to call our public racists.
