symonda and aussies are fueling aussie spectators
by Suresh Kumar on Oct 17, 2007 05:17 AM  | Hide replies

Symonds and Aussie players are playing game with us. Symonds by saying he was racially abused, he is indirectly fueling his back home fans. so that they can do all sort of cheap things when we go there for their summers.
Aussies are clever and do in playing mind games.

racial abuse?
by mudamosi on Oct 17, 2007 02:19 AM

Is calling someone a monkey racial abuse? Symonds should let the Indian public know how he was "racially abused". There is no point in speaking about these exclusively to the Aussie media. If he does have a case the guilty should be punished else Symonds should be sued for having brought the crowd to disrepute.
References to Indians as "Vindaloos", "curry munchers" by these fellows on and off the field is quite well known. Why is the ICC mum on these issues?

Only a idiot will use such logic.

USA a country of 300 million lost to vietnam, a country of a few millions.

When I think our country has such idiots,I know why we cannot win.

cnt put sachin in 4th postion...c wt dravid is facing at tht position..thy need 2 be on top to allow thm 2 play lil bit slow 2 gv a gr8 platform 4 our other batsmen who cn hit....
if sachin will cm in 40th over he'll nt able 2 play cz of his injuries...so dn waste sachin....

and also dont waste utthapa in tht position...we have seen he is a good finisher of the match...
put him wth dhoni or badrinath...

The administration should show more steel!
by zz on Oct 16, 2007 09:05 PM  | Hide replies

'Vadodra Police Commissioner C.P. Thakur told this correspondent: "We've inquired into the matter and it's confirmed that the charges leveled by Symonds against the crowds for having racially abused him are baseless.'

This statement by the police is consistent with their earlier stance that no systematic targeting of communities took place nor do any encounters ever take place! No wonder it happened in Vadodara. Gujrat has been so lumpenized during the recent past that it has somehow become a Germany at the eve of WWII. Denial upon denial..as if waiting for another conflagaration.
Issues need to be tackled head on and not brushed up under the carpet.

what abt cry of 'Shastri Hai hai' chanted throughout India even in Bombay. It is the public who do not like someone and then go overboard. To equate such cry like racial abuse is nothing but playing to the tune of Ausi game plan.

look who is complaining now?

racial slurs are bad for games, but who are aussies to complain when the whole issue of misbehaviour has been started by them

abusing players on field was the brainchild in name of aggressive cricket.

this is just plain b-u-l-l-s-h-i-t. when you talk in a particular way, you are sure to be responded in the same say.

ponting and his team are good cricket, but, no other team in the history has been as shameless as ponting's and none so much hated.

and just because bcci is a bunch of cowards, they get away with it.

bcci should put their foot down and tell ICC to go to ....

there will be no cricket without india participating.

Aussi excuses
by . on Oct 16, 2007 07:44 PM

when Warne could not be succeed in India against Sachin and others, after the series, he came with the excuse that he was having wrist problem, shoulder problem, etc. Those injuries did not hurt him while playing in India but complained abt injuries once the series was over. Notwithstanding the fact Symonds and Aussi have been successful, they are doing the same thing giving wrong excuses to defame opponents.
