They have been rested. Because, it wont be good for Ad people, BCCI etc, if these guys get clean bowled by these club level cricketers. Or may be after thrashing by Aussies, they need some rest, so that people forget what has happened. Big 20-20 fluke is coming out in open slowly...reality is still the Carribean world cup, where pathetic performances came out in open.

It would be better if u get some cricketing knowledge. India is one of the best side in the cricket world. Against Australia also we can win. You can check other team records against australia. And don't call 20-20 world cup a fluke. It was the best show of indian cricket.

Another flop event with all time flop international players and coaches. Flop players like: Kaif - look at his performance against SA A team pathetic show. Raina - still cannot time his shot. Munaf patel - a gully bowler and worst than a gully fielder. Gambhir - again a super flop international player, who never looked good at batting, lucky enough to get so many chances. Parthiv patel - He can only manage to score in domestic circuit, useless at international level. Shewag & dinesh karthik - If still they would have played at international level, they would ahev made a new record of maximum ZEROES in ODI, in consecutive matches. Finnaly Joginder Sharma - Woh what a bolwer, every tom dick and harry bangs him out of the stadium. T20 was his 1st and last international event and he should consider him self very lucky

As you can see, it is not just the seniors but also people like Uthappa,Z. Khan, I.Pathan, Sreesanth, Chawala (If not injured) rested. India has played non-stop cricket since May. They have a couple of tough series V Pak and Australia. All of them need rest.

Don't think they did that much to get a break ..May be they can find some form and rythm by playing ..What is the use of such competitions without the main players ..Is anyone ready to watch ??

Agarkar got more than a crore after T20 win...he is busy in spending that sum. After his fellow Marathi manus, Sharadji, will again pick him for a major tournament, and he will contribute as 15th man to the team. And will share the booty, too. I agree with you. Perhaps Karnataka players dont require this qualifying round which the other less able players require. They may be directly chosen if these Marathis are out of the selection team. Inspite of the gutless Marathi people and not because of them will the Karnataka guys get selected

what is karnataka contirbution to country ??? producing an idiot PM in Deve Gowda who played regional (sorry read district politics) at national level.... maybe kannadigas are bigger idiots than anybody !! is that so !! when will this country rise above petty regional / lingual bias over bigger national interests !! in fact at one point there were 5-6 karantaka players in team and some like Sunil joshi & some Johnson (dont remember his name) were picked to play when they could not perform in ranji level matches.. this johnson guy was said to be the future of indian fast bowling when we to South Africa...where is he now....eating kannadiga pie in Hassan !!
