SENIORS r Seniors !!!! Media to be blamed
by Edward Thompson on Oct 12, 2007 02:55 PM  | Hide replies

Why should Sachin and Dravid and Ganguly be removed !!! No way they have preformed so much for the country and they r worth staying in - If the Seniors dont preform why cant the Juniors preform - what did they do yesterday - STOP Changing the team often - 15 member squad should be there for a period of 1 yr and then ask them to preform rather than giving them 1 or 2 matches and ask them to preform - Change the BCCI members that will be a good idea - BCCI members should only be Members who can Play Cricket. NOT POLITICIAN JOKERS.

Why continue playing with those lazy uncles and soon you will have corporate style 60 year old retirement scheme ready for them. These 3 parasites should be immediately kicked out.

what was junior's contribution in yesterday's match. I bet the total runs won't cross 100 in any match in Australian tour if the team of the 'great' juniors play...

as per the report published in a morning newspaper, big 3 have opted themselves out just like t20. it even reported that the team is already selected but names not published.
as such no reason for fans to be outraged. moreover, it is not big 3 only but also other team members like dhoni, yuv, uthappa, irfan, etc.
seniors hv nothing to prove anything to anybody. but the new players hv to show their talent to the world. That%u2019s y chances given to younger ones an opportunity to show their talent n to get the best out of their hidden talents.

Close to 3/4th of the players are selected form the North and West zones. Just nearly 11 players are from the South and East zones of India.
Can this be justified?

mr. sai chandra we understand your pain but its a national game and event is not a zonal event. if it is based on merit and it happens that you have to select all the players from only one zone or one area..even though we should not go back and welcome that..what we are looking at finally we need a good elevan players wherever they are from india..but they win and make india proud so we need to come out from this zonal area state district religion caste thinkings...

Dear Deshmukh M, you must understand that the east and the south parts are neglected by the selectors. Im sure there are good players in the north and west, but domestic circiut is a platform to showcase talents from all parts of the mation.
Do you think these bunch of players selected in this tourney like kaif, sehwag, joginder, parthiv..are worth it..u must be kidding

HARD HITTER
RE:RE:Wah!

Another flop event with all time flop international players and coaches. Flop players like:
Kaif - look at his performance against SA A team pathetic show.
Raina - still cannot time his shot.
Munaf patel - a gully bowler and worst than a gully fielder.
Gambhir - again a super flop international player, who never looked good at batting, lucky enough to get so many chances.
Parthiv patel - He can only manage to score in domestic circuit, useless at international level.
Shewag & dinesh karthik - If still they would have played at international level, they would ahev made a new record of maximum ZEROES in ODI, in consecutive matches.
Finally Joginder Sharma - Woh what a bolwer, every tom dick and harry bangs him out of the stadium. T20 was his 1st and last international event and he should consider him self very lucky.
P.S: Look at the coaches. All time great flops. What a tournament

Did you watch the series against SA team A the irani trophy. Or in fact do you have any cricketing knowledge??
I think you just look at the score card at the end of the game or get the info from your collegues.
Check the fact and then comment about my comments.

if u had watched or know the facts u would have not made comments about Munaf (he played only one match [Irani trophy] and took 5 wickets), Gambhir and Karthik have scored more runs than many current ODI players in india, Joginder played onli in 20-20 and bowled well (forgot his final overs)...now compare these people's records with Harbhajan, powar etc.

RE:Wah!

That is why I have said you just look at eth score card and post your message and this you have confirmed from your message.
Did you watch how well did munaf bowled in irani trophy's 1st inning. He was wayward, gave maximum wides and Nayak hit him all over the ground. Did you look at his fielding effort, even the people watching teh game booed him.
Talking about Gambhir and karthik, get their records from cricinfo (statsguru), they are the guys with maximum DUCKS in the current lot of youngsters and the current aussies is evidence of gambhir's batting SKILLS.
Joginder HAHHAHAHAHAH. He was very very luky to get the wicket. He was hammer to each and every corner of the ground. Itwas not joginder who got the wicket, itwas misbah-ul-haq who gifted the wicket.
If a batsman can hit a wide ball from offside to leg side, you should understand how good the bowler is.
Take a break buddy, learn something about this game and then comeback to debate with me. Take a chill pill

CHANCES TO FRINGE PLAYERS-WAIT A MINUTE, HERE ALSO BCCI PLAYED POLITICS
by vaibhav kumar on Oct 12, 2007 02:19 PM

BCCI and Indian cricket isn't going anywhere. At least in selecting the team, that should have shown non-bias with states not getting well with BCCI supremo.

Pathetic to see state bias comes into the picture. Those who have been selected are not been crticized here but we surely have better than them in other stastes as well. 80% of those selected are worthy of being there, but its type 2 error. Those 20% worthy of being there, are ot included as their state/authority do not get well along with BCCI office bearers.

Of course in the end, there shall not be any public outcry, because we only want to here MASALA news of dhoni's, yuvi's, big 3's. This act of BCCI will not be raising any eyebrow.
