Badrinath in for Gambir.
by Rajagopal Nair on Oct 09, 2007 04:15 PM  | Hide replies

Badrinath in for injured Gautam Gambir O.K.. Then what about Ganguly? He should not be dropped. In lieu drop that old man Tendulkar who is playing only for records. He has surpassed Inzamam's record of maximum number of one day fifties. Thios old man tendulkar is not having any national interrst. He has wasted
40 plus balls in the just concluded march. Why to stick up with the team. Havw a nice respected departure now. Otherwise we will have to get rid off you from the ground.

Dont get emotional, everubody gets old. When old goes away , new generation steps in. Come on you cannot hold time or nature.
No hard feelings but personally twenty20 is for people less than 25 yrs, 50 over match is for people less than 30 yrs and test match is for peolpe till they retire ..what do you say ?

Agree with you Tendulkar should stop playing one day cricket now and make way for youngsters. He should focus on giving many more Tendulkars's to India

ICC FOR ELECTRONIC UMPIRING...
by cebujonas on Oct 09, 2007 03:58 PM  | Hide replies

_______________
Chips planted in stumps, bats, ball and few corners in different angles of the gorund fence can easily and accurately used IN ELECTRONIC UMPIRING...

AND INSTRUCTIONS COULD BE GIVEN BY 3rd UMPIRE TO THE STADIUM

UMPIRES LIKE SHASTRI OR BUKNOR NOT REQUIRED IN THE MIDDLE

BUT WE NEED FEW WWF HEAVY WEIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE to intervene if players like Ponting or Sreesanth fire sledging into body matching...

Rohit sharma has to play in the eleven. He played brilliantly in 20-20. He can definitely peform in one day international too.

Whether he make it to the playing 11
by Cecil Thomas on Oct 09, 2007 03:54 PM

Well done selectors by including the in form batsman. He should have been in the national side an year ago. But, let us wait and see if he make it to the 'star' studded team. Best wishes to the new Team India player Badrinath.

He is looking very, very confident. He should be given a chance in place of Dravid. I wish him good luck.

Ppl like u always cry for not including ur choice of players in the national team. And if included, then start, all they are brahmins, dirty politics in the selection process and all...! There is no politics. People are selected on their performance. Try to win the Ranji Trophy first. No one can stop then.

i do agree that balaji was very unlucky not to find a place in the Indian team after starting out so well against Pak in Pak; But he was injured and after that never got his rhythm back; He was very promising and we all thought we have found a very gud opening bowler; Hope he still has the attitude in him to make a comeback;

Out of these K.Srikkanth n L.Sivaramakrishnan have brought some fame to the state. Others have not performed well for a long period. So they are ignored. There is no politics. And u ignored some names intentionally. S.Venkataraghavan is the important among them. Current players like M.Karthik, D.Karthik...

not performed for a long time? wats that suppose to mean...its all becoz of politics only..balaji was throw out not coz of any performance...but politics...bad still he is not even playing for TN..same can be said of kumaran...he performed well during that OZ tour matches but was never given a chance...while agarkar was tried time & again & failed...when he returned...kumaran was thrown out...TN youngsters dont waste ur time playing cricket..u r not going to get selected...even if u will will eventually get dropped....play some...fruitful sports..

Badri is a good player. He has proved it. That's y is selected into the team. Vengsarakar has good expectations over him. If he is a Mubaikar who is thinking for the favour of Mumbaikars, why can't he ignore BADRINATH?
