Umm..um... I am not selected as captain... all are against Bengali. north south west all against us... we won freedom for India... we are running gouvernment including Sonia... We will stop parliament working... I can fix matchess... My brother is director in Lux Chaddi factory.... all Bangali buy Lux Chaddi... do agitation... call Lee and Tait in Kolkata and fix them so that I can score runs against them.... In the last test that was played at Perth, this is how the spinners did for their respective teams. Bowling O M R W MS Panesar 24 4 92 5 MS Panesar 34 3 145 3 (Out of the 5 Aussies wickets that fell)

India's best bowler with huge captaincy experience of leading Karnatka in Ranji, has been given finally the opportunity to lead, which he should have deservedely got years ago. But, as said by Kumble, better late than never. However, I do not understand why he has been handed over the charge for only three tests with Pakistan. He should have been made captain for all the forthcoming series. Rather, he should continue to lead till he retires.

I am sure that Mr.hawla is not from South. I am also from North. However, we all know that both Dravid and Kumble are thorough Gentlemen. Kumble is also an engineer. There is nothing wrong in supporting a person from South. There is lot to learn from these two Gentlemen.

If sachin accepted the captaincy, many people might have told that Powar and Vengy are playing marathi cards. Now we see that there is a favor to south indians, but why some body is trying to favor South Indians? Do you think Venkatapathi Raju is powerful enough to play favorites? he himself was thrown out of team when he got 4 wickets in his last ever onedayer.

Mr.indian talent, anil was vice captain of india team when azar was made indian captain. he should have been captain of indian team but for DALMIA it never happend earlier. Anil deserve this. instead of commenting nonsence better wish our team good luck

among indian spinners only shivalkar did not get justice. this subrata banerjee just enough for bengal cricket. KUMBLE IS THE ONLY SECOND BOWLER TO ACHIVE 10/10....IT IS HIGH TIME U BENGALIES SHOULD LEARN TO RESPECT TALENTS FROM OTHER STATE. OTHERWISE EVERY ONE HAVE TO USE HARSH WORDS

Do you remember Goel? He was one of the best spinner who never got a chance to play for India. Gavaskar has to say that he was simply unlucky since he was playing in the era of Bedi/Chandra and Prasanna.
I cant believe that selectors could show this naked provincialism, surprising how far they can go to keep their personal benefits and provincialism alive!!!!!! Hats of to them
He is the thinking type. He will be successful and win both PAK and AUS series. He will also leave at the end of AUS series ending his career in a high note.
Come on folks! As Anil Kumble himself is supposed to have said: What is the big deal all about? And why are we spitting venom against each other over Anil getting the captaincy?
We cannot deny the fact that Sourav was an aggressive captain, one of the best and had a good record as Captain. Though Dhoni has taken off very well as a Captain in T20s & ODIs, it is with a right intent of preventing Dhoni crumbling under the burden that the mantle has fallen on Anil. There could not have been a better candidate than Anil to hold the fort until Dhoni is ready to take over test captaincy. So, let us all join in wishing him and Team India all success.
Also, patriotism does not come naturally on the virtue of being either a North, East, West or South Indian. So, kindly avoid such careless allegations.
